Druckmittelbetriebener Alternativverstärkar.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen druckmittelbetriebenen Alter-
nativverstärker.
Bekannte Alternativverstärker bestehen im allgemeinen aus
einem mit Membranen in einem Gehäuse gefesselten Steuer-
körper, der auf einer Seite vom Steuerdruck und auf der
anderen Seite vom Verstärkerausgangsdruck beaufschlagt ist.
Die beiden Membranen schließen dabei zwischen sich einen
mit der freien Atmosphäre in Verbindung stehenden Raum
ein, der durch einen im Gehäuse angeordneten und vom Steuer-
körper betätigten Ventilverschluß mit dem Verstärkeraus-
gangsdruckraum in Verbindung gebracht werden kann, wobei
dann die Zufuhr von äußerer Druckenergie in den Verstär-
kerausgangädruckraum unterbunden ist: Diese bekanntenVer-
stärkerbauarten weisen der Nachteil auf, daß sie hinsichtlich
ihrer Abmessungen bestimmten Begrenzungen unterworfen sind,
die aus konstruktiven Gründen nicht unterschritten werden
können. Die Baugröße dieser Verstärker vereitelt daher oft
den Einsatz pneumatischer oder hydraulimher Verstärker, die
in gewissen Fällen von ihrer Arbeitsweise her den elektri-
schen Verstärkern überlegen sein-können. Zum anderen nei-
gen die bekannten pneumatischen Verstärker -aber auch auf-
grund der zu ihrem Aufbau benötigten Massen des Steuer-
körpers und des Ventilverschlusses zu unerwünschten Schwing-
ungen. -
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe-zugrunde, diese Nachteile
. zu vermeiden und ein neues Verstärkerelement zu schaffen,
das kleine Abmessungen erlaubt, besonders einfach herzu-
stellen ist und eine einwandfreie Wirkungsweise-gewähr-
leistet. -
Ausgehend von der Erkenntnis, daß zur Funktion eines Alter-
nativverstärkers stets zwei Schaltvorgänge in Abhängigkeit
von der Größe des Steuerdruckes und des Ausgangsdruckes
nötig sind, besteht die Erfindung darin, daß zwei gleich-
zeitig von demselben Steuerdruck beaufschlagbare druck-
mittelbetriebene Schalter vorgesehen. sind, von denen einer
beim Überschreiten eines bestimmten Steuerdruckwertes die
Zufuhr von Druckmittel. in den Verstärkerausgangsdruckraum
öffnet und der andere die Abfuhr von Druckmittel aus die-
sem Veratärkerausgangsdruckraum schließt. Durch diese Aus-
gestaltung können die für pneumatische öder hydraulische
Schalter bekannten Bauelemente Verwendung finden, die in
sehr kleinen Abmessungen hergestellt werden können. Schwin-
gungen werden weitgehend ausgeschlossen, weil die Masse
sich nicht in unerwünschter Weise gegenseitig zu Schwin-
gungen anregen können. Der erfindungsgemäße Verstärker
kann durch die Aufteilung seiner Funktion darüberhinaus
aber auch als Überdruckventil oder als Schaltrelais ein-
gesetzt werden, wenn die Druckanschlüsse entsprechend ge-
wählt werden.
Eine einfache Ausführungsform ergibt sich, wenn die Schal-
ter mit je einer elastisch nachgiebigen und vom Steuer-
druck beaufschlagten Trennwand versehen sind, die zwischen
sich einen Steuerdruckraum einschließt und weite. die Trenn-
.wände darüberhinaus jeweils mit einem an sich bekannten
Ventilverschluß fest verbunden sind, von denen einer von
außen und der andere von innen mit je einem an einem die
Trennwände umschließenden Gehäuse vorgesehenen Ventilsitz
zusammenwirkt. Dabei.können die Trennwände in einer Aus-
führungsiorm als zwei dicht in dem Gehäuse angeordneten
T.-Tembranen ausgebildet sein, die den Verstärkeraus;angs-
druckraum in zwei Teilräume unterteilen. Für den Einsatz
als Verstärker werden beide Teilräume miteinander verbun-
den. Für andere Verwendungsfälle ist es bei dieser Aus-
führungsform jedoch auch mciglicl2, die Teildrurkräume ge-
trennt an Druckquellen anzuschließen.
In einer anderen Ausführungsform können die Trennwände
dagegen-als eine in sich geschlossene elastische Kapsel
ausgebildet sein, die nur durch die auf die Ventilver-
schlüsse wirkenden Drücke innerhalb des. Gehäuses ge-
halten ist und sich selbst zentriert. Diese Ausführungs-
form zeichnet sich durch einen besonders einfachen Auf-
bau und eine billige #EIerstellung aus. Eine einfache Wei-
terbildung dieser Ausführungsform besteht darin, daß@ die
Kapsel aus zwei. an ihren Rändern miteinander verbundenen
Membranen besteht. Bei dieser Ausführungsform kann zweck®
mäßigerweise der Innenraum der Kapsel durch ein Röhrchen
mit dem Außenraum-verbunden sein, das durch das Zentrum
eines Ventilverschlusses hindurchgeführt und zum Anschluß
an den Steuerdruck ausgebildet ist.
Eine weitaus einfachere Ausführungsform ergibt sich je-
doch dann, wenn die Kapsel aus einer kleinen Gummi- oder
Kunststoffblase besteht, die ganz besonders einfach über
ein im Gehäuse angeordnetes rSchauchstückmit dem Steuer-
druck verbunden: ist. Bei der Herstellung dieses 1:1 - Ver-
stärkers kann auf besondere Dearbeitungsvorgänge zur Auf- -
nahme, der Gummblase im Gehäuse- verzichtet werden. Da
auch dis Einhaltung einer bestimmten Baugröße-, die bis-
her zur Aufrechterhaltung der Funktionssicherheit von
Membranen nötig war, bei der neuen Ausführungsform nicht
mehr Voraussetzung ist, ist eine besonders vorteilhafte
Lösung eines Schalt- oder Verstärkergliedes .für pneu-
matische Regelanlagen geschaffen worden, für deren Ein-
satz nur wenig Raum zur Verfügung steht. _
Die Erfindung ist anhand einiger.Ausführungsbeispiele in
der Zeichnung dargestellt und in, der nachfolgenden Be-
schreibung erläutert.
Es zeigen;
Fig. 1 eine Ausführungsform des pneumatischen
Verstärkers-mit zwei fest in einem Ge-
häuse eingesetzten IyTembranen,

durch die Ventilverschlüsse innerhalb

kers mit einer als Steuerdruckraum aus-
gebildeten Gummiblase in einem Gehäuse und
Fig. 5 das den Ausführungsformen der Fig. 3 und
4 entsprechenden Schaltungssymbol.
In der Fig. 1 sind. in einem Gehäuseblock 1 zwei Schalter
I und II angeordnet. Diese Schalter bestehen aus zwei Mein-
braven 2 und 3, die so im Gehäuse 1 eingespannt sind, daß
.sie den Innenraum des Gehäuseblockes 1 in drei Teilräume
4, 5 und 6 unterteilen. Der Teilraum 5 steht dabei über
den Druckanachluß 7 mit dem Steuerdruck in Verbindung.
Der Teilraum 4 kann über den ßnschlußstutzen 8 mit der
Verstärkunsdruckluftquelle in Verbindung gebracht wer-
den und der Teilraum 6 mündet über die Anschlußbohrung 9
in die freie. Atmosphäre: Die Teilräume 4 und 6 bilden
bei der gezeigten Verstärkerausführungsform den Ver-
stärkerausangsdruckraum und sind über die Anschlüsse
10 und 11 miteinander und mit dein zu betätigenden Stell-
Glied verbunden:.
Die Membrane 2 ist über die Teller 12 und den Stift 13 mit
der Kugel 14 fest verbunden-, die als Ventilverschluß für
den Ventilsitz 15 dient (SchalterI). Die Membrane 3 ist
dagegen in gleicher Weise mit einer Art Verschlußnadel 16
ver-s-ehendie im Gegensatz zu der Kugel 14, die von außen
auf dein Ventilsitz 15 aufsitzt:, von innen mit dem Ventil-
sitz 17 zusammenwirkt (Schalter 11). Das Gehäuse 1' besteht
- im übrigen_aus drei Teilen, die äußerst einfach bearbeit-
bar und zusanmenfügbar sind.
Übersteigt während des Betriebes des dargestellten Ver-
stärkers der lteuerdruck im Raum 5 den. Druck in den Teil-
räumen 4 und 5, so erhebt sich die Kugel 14 von dem Ven-
tilsitz 15 durch die Wirkung der Membrane 2 ab. Gleich-
zeitig wird jedoch die Ventilnadel 16 fest auf den Ven-
tilsitz 17 gedrückt und verschließt somit die VerbindunÜ
zur freien Atmosphäre. Druckluft strömt durch den Anschluß-
stutzen 8 in den Verstärkerausgangsdruckraum 46 en und
kann von dort in ausreichender Menge zur Betätigung des-
Stellgliedes herangezogen werden. Sinkt der Steuerdruck
im Steuerdruckraum 5, so fällt auch der-Druck im Verstär-
kerausgangsdruckraum 4, 6 dadurch ab, daß die Kugel 14
den Ventilsitz 15 verschließt, während die Nadel 16 sich
vom Ventilsitz 17 abhebt, da beide Membranen 2 und 3 auf- _.
grund des zwischen ihnen herrschende, geringeren Druckes
nach.innen gedrückt werden. Durch die Anordnung durch
zwei an sich bekannten pneumatischen Schaltelementen ist
somit ein einfacher Alternativverstärker geschaffen wor-
den. Dieser Alternativverstärker kann auch als Schaltre-
lais oder als Überdruckventil eingesetzt werden, wenn die
Anschlüsse 10`-und 11 getrennt voneinander mit verschiede-
nen=Druckquellen verbunden sind.
In der Fig. 2 sind die beiden Schalter I und II als Sinn-
bilder dargestellt aus den gewählten Symbolen geht her-
vor, daß der Schalter I geschlossen ist, wenn der Schalter
IZ offensteht und daß der Steuerdruck 7 durch Vergleich
seiner Größe mit den Ausgangsdrücken 4 und 6 an den Nem-
branen 2 und: 3 die Schalter I und II beeinilußt.
In Fig. 3 ist ein pneumatischer Verstärker gezeigt, bei
dem sich der Steuerdruckraum 5 innerhalb von zwei an ihren
Rändern miteinander verbundenen Membranen 18 und 19-befin-
det, die jeweils wieder mit den Ventilverschlüssen 14 und
16 versehen sind. Der Ventilve:rschluß 14-bildet zusammen
mit dem Ventilsitz 15 und der zugehörigem Membrane 18 den
Schalter I und der Ventilverschluß 16 mit dem Ventilsitz 17
und der@zugehörigen Membrane 19 den Schlater II.ä Der An-
schluß ? an den Steuerdruck erfolgt bei dieser Ausführungs-
form über ein Röhrchen 20, das durch den Ventilverachluß 16
hindurch in den:Steuerdruckraum 5 führt und an seinem
Ende den aufgesteckten Schlauch 21 trägt. Der Innenraum
des Gehäuses 1 wird bei dieser Ausführungsform nicht mehr
unterteilt, so daß der Verstärkerausgangsdruckraum 4 bei
dieser Ausführungsform nur über eine Auslaßöffnung 10 mit
dem Stellglied in Verbindung steht. Die Funktionsweise
dieses Verstärkers ist indentisch mit der Funktionsweise
des Verstärkers nach Fig. 1. Die Herstellung dieses Ver-
stärkers gemäß Fig. 3 ist jedoch bedeutend einfacher, weil
auf die Einhaltung von Toleranzen und auf die schwierige

Bearbeituizg zur Aufnahme von Membranen im Gehäuse verzich#-
tet werden kann: Die Membranen 18 und 19 zentrieren sich
bei dieser Ausführungsform durch ihre Ventilverschlüsse
14 und 16 selbsttätig. Eine Befestigung der Membranen am
Gehäuse ist nicht erforderlich.
In der Fig. 4 ist eine noch einfachere Ausführungsform
gezeigt, bei der anstelle von zwei Membranen nur. noch eine
aus Gummi oder Kunststoff gebildete Membranblase 22 vor-
gesehen ist, auf die die Ventilverschlüsse 14 und 16 ent-
weder aufgeklebt oder aufvulkanisiert sind. Auch hier
werden zwei Schalter I und II gebildet. Die Verbindung 'des
im Inneren der Membranblase 22 gelegenen Steuerdruckraumes
mit dem Steuerdruck erfolgt in einfacher Weise über das
vorzugsweise einteilig mit der Membranblase 22 hergestellte
Schlauchstück 23, das aufgrund seiner elastischen Eigen-
schaften ohne Einhaltung besonderer Toleranzen in dem Ge-
häuse 1 befestigt und in nicht näher dargestellter Weise
mit dem Steuerdruck verbunden werden kann. Diese Ausführungs-
form erlaubt eine besonders einfache Herstellung, weil
außer den Ventilsitzen keine genauere Bearbeitung des
Verstärkergl iedes notwendig, ist. Auch die Montage ge-
staltet sich sehr einfach. Bei dieser Ausführungsform
ist in dera. Gehäuse 1 eine den Verstärkerausngsdruck-
raum 4 mit der Außenluft verbindende I,eclistrombohrung 24
vorgesehen, die mit einer Drossel 25 versehen ist. und zur
Verbesseimng der statischen Eigenschaften des Verstärkers
dient. Durch die Anordnung dieser Bohrung kann der Größen-
unterschied zwischen den vom Steuerdruckraum 5 und vom
Verstärkerausgangsdruckraun 4 her beaufschlagten Quer-
schnitten an der FIembranblase 22 ausgegUchen werden.
Eine derartige Leckstrombohrung kann auch bei den Aus-
führungsformen der rig. 1 und 3 vorgesehen. werden.
Inder Fig. ä sind die den: Verstärker der Fig: 3 und 4
bildenden Schalter I und II schematisch dargestellt, die
der Fig. 4 entsprechenden Bezugszeichen sind zum Verständnis
