Bei Fernsehempfängern der normaen Bauert ist es übiich, das

berucksichtigenl, daß die Fornaehröhre eine gewisse Gefahr
für
4es : Beschauer insofern ildet, als die Röhre zum wesentlichen
Teil aus einem h großen, luftleer gepumpten Glaebehälter
bested bei dem immerhin mit der Möglichkeit gerechnet werden
muß 4aß-sei es durch einen unbemerkt gebliebenen Fertigungs-
fehler sei ea urch eine unvorhergesehene äußere BinHirkcng-
di Rhre zerstört wird. Da die Röhre luftleer ist. erfolgt
eine IMPlosionl, bei der die Glassplitter unter Luftdrwk tmher-
geschleudert werden. Es ist daher ein Schutz des Beschauers
er-
forderlich. Da die Röhre sich innerhalb des Gehäuses des gesam-
ten Apparates befindet, ist nur die vordere Bildfläche zum
Be-
schauer hin frei.
Es ist daher gebräuchlich, eine durchsichtige, mechanisch hin-
reichend stabile jKmiststoffscheibe vor die Fernsehrõhre in
das
Bildfenster des Fernsehgerätes einzusetzen. Diese Anord-aung
hat
den Nachteil, daß das Licht eines BildpTRtktes z. T. an der
Ober-
fläche des RSeNölbens selbst, z. T. von den beiden Oberflä
ehen der SCiaeheibe aMcestraM-t wird ma. d so andere Bild-'
Partien aufhellt. Dte Folge lia-t ein verminderter Kontrast
des
Bildes. Um den Kon-trast zu ve : rbessern-, strebt man danach,
die
Schu, tzseheibe durch geeignete Tomgebung at) guehfit nahe
an den
Rhrealben eranzubringen.
Diese Sghwierißtelten werden daher gemu der Brfindung bei einer
Pmaehrr mdt Implosionsse&tz dadmh'vermiaden daß auf der
Bildseite der Röhre eine Scheibe aus durchsiehtigem Kunststoff
unter Herstellung optischen Kontakts mmittelbar anfgekittet
ist. Hierbei haben vorteilhafterweise Scheibe, Verbindungsmittel
und Glas nahezu den gleichen Breehungskooff : Lzionten. Die
optische
Wirkung ist naturgemäß dann am besten wenn alle 3 Brechuags-
koeffizienten gleich sind, jedoch sehaden kleine Abweichumgen
voneinander nicht. Besondere geeignet ist ein Kitt auf der
Basie
eines Polymerisates, der im flüssigen Zustande zwischen Schutzscheibe und Röhrenboden
gebracht wird und dann aushärtet. Um die Reflexion an der äußeren Fläche der Schutzscheibe
weitgehend herabzusetzen, hat sich eine geringe Graufarbene der Schutzscheibe als
wirkungsvoll erwiesen. Dies ist so zu erklären, daß das vom Beschauer direkt gesehene
Licht die Schutzscheibe nur einmal passiert, während das reflektierte Lieht diese
mehrmals durchläuft und entsprechend geschwächt wird. Die Dunkelfärbung
der Schutzscheibe macht'die Du. ttklfärbung des Glasbodens
der
Röhre selbst entbehrlich, @oraus sich fertigungstechnische Vorteile ergeben ; denn
