Zusatz zu Patent .......... (Patentanmeldun G 40 915 VIb/55c)
Method for gluing paper and / or cardboard Addendum to patent .......... (patent application G 40 915 VIb / 55c)
The subject of the patent ...... :( Patent application G 40 915 VIb / 55c) is a process for gluing paper and / or cardboard in the wet, characterized in that anionic, aqueous dispersions, the plastics produced in the emulsion polymerization process contain, the paper and / or cardboard pulp and then the plastic particles precipitated by aluminum salt solutions at pH ranges below 7 on die.Faserstoffe in the presence of the aluminum hydroxide that forms.
In the patent ....... (patent application G 40 9'I5 VIb / 55c) a
Process for gluing paper and / or cardboard described and examples listed,
which allow using -aqueous plastic dispersions in the presence of aluminum sulfate
To achieve internal sizing of papers in bulk with a similar effect,
as Moritz Illig described it in 1807 when he saponified tree resin (rosin) with soda
and then the resin together with the resin acid formed by means of alum
the aqueous soda-alkaline solution precipitated on the fibers. Moritz's procedure
Illig is still used today in all paper producing countries.
On sheet 3, section 2 of the above patent (patent application) the
Surface sizing of papers with anionically adjusted aqueous plastic dispersions

Beispiel

used in a concentration of 0.33 Jo (remainder of condensation water) for the surface lapping of an unsized paper web. When diluting the primary, aqueous plastic dispersion, it is advisable to stir the condensation water into the aqueous dispersion in order not to obtain any agglomerates of the plastic particles. The paper web impregnated with the dispersion in the size press is pressed through the rest of the paper inside the size press. liche dryer section of the paper machine and wound up on the pope roller as usual. The paper web is fully sized and can be written on with ink without the ink line running out. Example 2: as in Example 1, but the L, i.mpresse contains 6.6 g of the per liter Copolymer dispersion containing jo styrene and 3e ° ö acrylic
