Electric motor for centrifugal pumps The invention relates to an electric motor for centrifugal pumps, the rotor of which is either washed around directly by the liedium to be conveyed or is exposed to a humid atmosphere. In electric motors of this type there is a fundamental risk that severe corrosion phenomena will occur, especially on the surface of the laminated core that forms the main part of the rotor, as a result of which a layer of rust blocking the rotor in the stator can build up. In order to avoid the difficulties mentioned, numerous constructions have already been developed. It is known, for example, to coat the rotor with a copper sleeve, to tin-plate it, to adorn it or to coat it with a synthetic material. Also Ohromblechrohre who pulled over the red # or, werdea, arrived already used. However, all of the previous measures are not fully satisfactory, as they do not provide a reliable protection against corrosion and, on the other hand, enlarge the magnetically effective air gap between the rotor and the stator, which in turn significantly affects the efficiency of the electric motor. To eliminate the deficiencies inherent in the earlier designs, the invention proposes an electric motor for centrifugal pumps with a metallic, rustproof tube that surrounds the rotor core in a watertight manner and is characterized in that the rustproof tube is made of a material whose magnetic conductivity is much better than is the magnetic conductivity of air. In addition, according to a second MeiAcmal, the edges of the tube which overlap the sheet metal rotor can be rolled or rolled into grooves provided on the circumference of the short-circuit rings of the rotor. An embodiment of the subject invention is described below. The electric motor for centrifugal pumps shown in longitudinal section in the drawing is housed in a housing 1 and consists of the stator 2 fixedly mounted therein and the rotor 3, which rotates within the can 4 separating it from the stator 2. This rotor 3 is in turn composed of the shaft and the laminated rotor core 6 attached to it. On the 'output end of the shaft 5 , the pump wheel 7 is attached. The air gap S ′ present between the rotor 3 and the can 4 interrupts the magnetic flux of the lines of force of the stator 2 and must therefore be kept as small as possible. However, due to corrosion of the rotor core 6 it could become clogged, which is why it is necessary for the rotor core 6 from moisture influences to s chätzen. In the present case, the latter takes place with HII-fe of a metallic, rust-proof tube 9, which is pushed onto the laminated rotor core 6. According to the invention, a material is used for the production of this tube 9 , the n ml-netic conductivity of which is significantly better than the magnetic conductivity of air, a property which, for example, Jerkstoff No. 4511 has. The tube 9 made therefrom thus hardly hinders the power line flow of the stator 2 any more and accordingly protects the reproduced electric motor from its efficiency being impaired.
6
übergreifenden Ränder 12 des Rohres 9 eingewalzt bzw. einsind. In order to prevent the penetration of liquid into the pipe 9 , this is connected in a watertight manner to the short-circuit rings 10 forming the end faces of the rotor core 6 . For this purpose, 11 have the short-circuit rings 10 at its outer circumferential grooves, into which the the rotor core 6 overlapping edges 12 of the tube 9 or rolled einsind.
