Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung aus Faserstoff oder anderem nachgiebigem Material für Eier od. dgl. zerbrechliche Gegenstände und geht aus von einer Verpackung, die aus einem Unterteil und einem Oberteil besteht, welche gelenkig miteinander verbunden sind und bei geschlossener Verpackung mit ihren Rändern gegeneinander anliegen sowie durch eine Verschlußeinrichtung lösbar miteinander verriegelbar sind, wobei zumindest das Unterteil eine oder mehrere Vertiefungen zur Aufnahme der Gegenstände aufweist und wobei ferner die Verschlußeinrichtung aus einer den Rand des Oberteils und eine in demselben befindliche Öffnung begrenzenden Rippe und einem auf dem Unterteil angeordneten hakenförmigen Vorsprung besteht, der mit der Rippe in der Weise zusammenwirkt, daß bei geschlossener Verpackung das Vorderteil des innerhalb des Oberteils der Verpackung befindlichen hakenförmigen Vorsprunges durch die Öffnung im Oberteil hindurchragt. .The invention relates to packaging made of fiber or other flexible material for eggs Od. Der Verschlußvorsprung kann deshalb steif und damit robust ausgebildet werden, indem die Wandstärke des Kopfes 50 erhöht wird, z. B. dadurch, daß der Kopf wie angegeben und in F i g. 8 gezeigt innen durch eine Rippe 56 verstärkt wird.
