Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Eindicken radioaktiver
Konzentrate
In diesen Apparaturen
In Weiterbildung
Konzen-
trat in den Behälter gespült. Der Flüssigkeitsspiegel wird
die
maximale Höhe 4 erreichen. Ferner ist an der Oberseite den
Be-
hälters mittels Haltern 5 eine Schiene 6 angebracht, über
die
mit Hilfe der Klammern ? durch den Montageschutzstutzen
8 der
Heizkörper 9 eingeführt wird. Wie mit den gestrichelten
Pfeilen 10
dargestellt, wird der Flüssigkeitsspiegel 4 von oben berührungslos
beheizt, so daß die Flüssigkeit hier verdampft. Durch den
Stutzen

Method and device for thickening radioactive concentrates The invention relates to a tube and a device
for thickening radioactive concentrates.
It is well known that radioactive substances are produced in many places in a reactor
contaminated substances in filter, evaporator, precipitator or
other cleaning systems for radioactively contaminated liquid
be sent. There they fall in precor. m ntrier
Form to and are forwarded for thickening. It is known,
to thicken the radioactive substances by the fact that the liquid
that served as a carrier for these substances by evaporation
Will get removed. This happens, for example, in high concentration
evaporate or in special dryers. In these apparatuses
The concentrate often comes in powder form and must be safer
Avoidance of any dust formation in transportable containers
been bottled. These containers will later become the decayers
Activity of these radioactively contaminated substances in a central
Collection point transported and stored there
S.
Have the above-mentioned previously known evaporation apparatus
the disadvantage that they are mostly complex and movable
Have parts subject to wear and thus disturbances
are. The repair of these parts is made possible by contamination
further complicated. .
These disadvantages are alleviated by the method according to the invention.
by avoiding * the fact that the radio4kti's v « iniste prehonzen-
trated liquid mass with dissolved and undissolved substances
is first rinsed into a container in which the liquid
by contactless heating the concentrate level on the
Surface evaporates and a gas stream rides out of the container
removed, thereby completely drying out the concentrate
Is reached in the container. The dried up thus obtained
Concentrate is then placed in this same container to allow the
Activity transported to the collection point and stored there.
The contactless heating is preferably by means of a
Reached infrared rays. To carry out the procedure can
For example, a container can be used in: the one through
a mounting socket located on the container on and off
buildable heating body is arranged. In continuing education
the container is transportable and has an elongated shape
almost cylindrical shape. The length of the radiator is preferred
wise almost equal to the length of the container.
The more detailed description of the subject matter of the invention should be based on
are explained in the following examples.
In Fig. I the longitudinal cut, in Fig. 2 the cross section is the
Container shown according to the Erffädung.
The container 1 shown in the embodiment (Fig. 1),
who stands on feet 2 is elongated and has almost one
cylindrical shape. Through the one on the top of the container
attached nozzle 3, the radioactively contaminated concentrate
entered the container flushed. The liquid level becomes the
reach maximum height 4. Furthermore, on the top is the loading
holder by means of holders 5 a rail 6 attached over the
with the help of the brackets ? through the protective fitting 8 of the
Radiator 9 is introduced. As with the dashed arrows 10
shown, the liquid level 4 is contactless from above
heated so that the liquid evaporates here. Through the nozzle
will blow a gas with a weak current into the container g *, by means of
then the evaporated liquid via the nozzle 12 out of the
Container can get out,
In this way, the concentrate can dry out completely
into container 1, which is on the same side as the final laser
container is used to be achieved.
Then the radiator, in this example an infrared
shine, removed from the outside in just a few simple steps
Connection lines are loosened, and the storage container is with
a hoist or other means of transport for decay
the activity brought to the interim storage location '
The advantage of this device mm Thickening of radioactive concentrates
trate is. the very simple one. Construction of the container and, therefore
the low price for the same .. In addition, it grants a large,
not yet achieved security, as the thickened radio
active substances are no longer in contact with the outside world
