Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung der durch das Patent 123826 geschätzten, selbsttätig wirkenden Sicherheitsvorrichtung, welche in die von dem Gaserzeuger nach dem Gasmotor führende Rohrleitung eingeschaltet ist. Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Sicherheitsvorrichtung zwangsweise von dem Gasmotor selbst in Tätigkeit gesetzt. Dadurch soll verhütet werden, daß in der genannten Rohrleitung ein den Normaldruck auch nur wenig übersteigender Druck entsteht. Eine solche Sicherheitsvorrichtung besteht, wie in der Zeichnung beispielsweise dargestellt ist, aus einem Ventil d, einer Klappe oder dergl., welche in einem Zweigrohr α der Rohrleitung b nach der Gasmaschine c angeordnet ist und durch geeignete Verbindungsglieder, wie Stangen und Hebel e, mit einem Regulator f gebräuchlicher Bauart in Verbindung steht, der von dem Gasmotor angetrieben wird. Die Einstellung des Regulators / muß mit Bezugauf die Stellung der Klappe oder des Ventils d so geregelt werden, daß bei normaler Saugwirkung des Motors die Sicherheitsvorrichtung geschlossen ist. Sobald aber der Motor eine geringere Geschwindigkeit als die normale annimmt oder vollständig zum Stillstand kommt, wird durch die Regulatorwirkung mit Hilfe einer Hebelübersetzung e das Ventil oder die Klappe oder dergl. geöffnet, so daß das sich nachträglich entwickelnde Gas sofort ins Freie entweichen kann, ohne daß in der Rohrleitung b irgendwelcher Überdruck entsteht.The invention relates to a further embodiment of the automatically operating safety device valued by patent 123826, which is switched into the pipeline leading from the gas generator to the gas engine.
