Plant for the flow production of sealing capsules The invention relates to a plant for the production of sealing capsules.
Zentrierung schadhaften Kapseln auszuscheiden. It is already known to manufacture caps from sheet metal blanks, i.
from pieces of sheet metal previously cut out in the form of round or square disks
to manufacture. The centering of these blanks in the deep-drawing press stops
Quite a difficult problem, the result of which is a noticeable proportion of defective capsules
guides and forces to sort the capsules to the due to a random bad
Centering defective capsules to excrete.

Fig. 4 stellt eine
In allen
wieder in Bewegung setzt.
ortsfeste
Magnetmetallkörper-22 gebildete/Zange und eine von einem
beweglichen Elektromagneten 23. und einem diesem gegenüber
angeordneten Körper aus einem ebenfalls magnetischen
Material gebildete bewegliche Zange.

wird die Wicklung 284 erregt, der Kontakt 282 unterbrochen und der Kontakt 283 hergestellt;
The object of the invention is to create a system for the flow production of closure capsules in which the problem of centering the blanks in the deep-drawing device is avoided. The invention solves the problem by a system in which a thin metal strip is assumed and the following device comprises an Abapulvorriehtung for the thin metal strip, a feed and stop device, a punching and deep-drawing device, a device for aligning and inserting the compact, a device for pressing and rolling, a device for applying a sealing compound and an oven in which the sealing compound is fully polymerized. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the advancing and stopping device comprises stationary tongs made of a sheet metal magnet and a body made of magnetic metal arranged opposite this, a movable tong made of a sheet metal magnet and a body made of magnetic metal opposite this, a device which the movable tong- a reciprocating movement in the direction of advance of the tape and is coupled to the closing process of the tongs in such a way that the movable tong is closed during its movement phase corresponding to the advance of the tape and is open during the, whereas the stationary tong is open during the advance phase of the movable one The clamp is open and closed while the return gas is closed. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to schematic drawings of an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of the ex-section of the plant for the continuous production according to the invention, which comprises the unwinding device for the band, the advance and stop device and the punching and deep-drawing device, Fig. 2 shows in section the in the in Fig. 1 shown section of the plant produced deep-drawn PreBliU9, ePig. 3 shows the section of the plant for flowing
manufacture, which the device for alignment and Ei nr en des Preßlinga, the device for embossing and
Rolling up, the requirement for applying a sealing compound and the oven in which the sealing compound is fully polymerized, FIG. 4 shows a detail from FIG. 3, and FIG. 5 shows the finished capsule in section. In all figures, the same reference numerals are used for the same parts. The thin metal strip is normally delivered rolled up on a reel 9. The metal is often covered with a plastic film such as polyethylene. The bobbin is unwound in such a way that any plastic film that may be present is on the underside of the unrolled tape. The tape first enters the unwinding device 1. This comprises a lubricating pad 10 for greasing the metal surface which is not coated with the plastic film. From here the greased belt 90 runs between two conveying rollers 11 and 12 which are pressed onto one another, at least one of which is driven by an electric motor 14. The tape then forms a loop 91 and then overflows. a roller 13. Two circuit breakers are arranged at right angles to this loop, an upper switch 15 with a sensor 151, which is at. Touching through the loop closes a microcontact 152 and wets the moi-or 14 -in motion, and a lower switch 16 with a sensor 161 which, when touched by the loop, opens a microcontact 162 and switches off the motor. The motor can be controlled in any known manner : FIG. a holding relay 17, which closes two contacts 171 and 172 after being energized. The power source 900 is on the one hand with the armature 173 of the Relay 17 and: with one of the terminals of the microcontact
one
152 and on the other hand with / the clamping of the winding 174 des
Relay and connected to the motor 14. The second connection terminal of the coil 174 is connected to the microcontact 162, the other connection terminal of which is connected to the contact 171 of the relay and to the second connection terminal of the microcontact 152, while the contact 172 of the relay is connected to the motor. The holding relay 17 works as follows: When the loop 91 touches the sensor 151, the contact 152 is closed and voltage is applied to the winding 174 of the relay 17 because the microcontact 162 is also closed; the armature 173 is attracted and closes the relay contacts. The motor 14 fed via the contact 172 is set in motion and drives the conveyor whales 11 and 12. The tape advances so that the loop 91 detaches itself from the feeler 151 and thus breaks the microcontact 152. The winding 174, which is fed via the contact 171, remains under tension, and the relay does not change its position, so that the motor continues running and the loop 91 is further lowered (the and 12 gave waste from the conveyor rollers 11 is winding speed always greater than the speed given to the belt at 92 by the further devices) until it touches the sensor 161 of the lower switch 16 and thus releases the contact 162 and interrupts the excitation of the relay. The contact 172 is interrupted and the motor 14 comes to a standstill. Because of the speed given to the belt at 92 by the further devices, the loop 91 rises again until it touches the sensor 151 and thus closes the contact 152 and sets the motor in motion again, as already explained. The emerging from the Abspulvorriehtung band 92 now enters the feed and stop device 2. The Einrichtunfdie be used for this purpose, are generally based on the intermittent drive between two controlled by proximity sensor Walzen.Diese facilities have the great disadvantage that they except the cause the desired longitudinal movement due to the irregular belt thickness also a transverse movement; However, irregular band thicknesses occur particularly with metal bands coated with a plastic film. The invention avoids this disadvantage by using a feed and stop device that operates with pliers. This device comprises one of a stationary one Electromagnet 21 and one arranged opposite this

The feed and stop device works as follows: If no current flows in the winding 284, the contact 282 is closed and the contact 283 is interrupted; the electromagnet 21 is energized so that the stationary tongs are closed and the movable tongs are open; the tape stops while the punching and deep-drawing device 3 produces a compact. After completion of this operation, the winding 284 is excited, the contact 282 is interrupted and the contact 283 is made; the electromagnet 21 is no longer energized, so that the fixed clamp opens, while the electromagnet 23 is energized and the movable clamp closes. After a very short time, which corresponds to the delay of the signal by the delay device 261, the winding 26 is energized, the rod 25 is attracted, compressing the spring 27 and a the movable tongs and with this the tape 92 advances. When the signal disappears, the excitation of the electromagnet 23 ceases, while the electromagnet 21 is now excited:; if the normally closed contact 282 of the relay is closed again; the movable clamp opens and the stationary clamp closes again. After a time which is equal to the delay by the delay circuit 261, the winding 26 is no longer energized; the rod 25 resumes its original position under the action of the spring 27 and causes the open movable tongs 23, 24 to move back, the band 92 stopping as it is held by the tongs 21, 22 which is closed because the electromagnet 21 is excited due to the closed contact 282. The stamping and deep-drawing device 3 is of known construction: In FIG. 1, a punch 31 is shown which works together with a die 32. The punch 31 has an inner shape 310 which corresponds to the desired outer surface of the compact, while the die 32 has an outer shape 320 corresponding to the desired inner surface of the compact, the play between the surfaces 310 and 320 being equal to the maximum thickness of the band 92. At the lower end of its surface 310, the punch has an annular cutting edge 311 which, in cooperation with the corresponding depression 321 in the die, performs the punching out of the compact 93. After a compact has been produced, the punching and deep-drawing device 3 sends a signal to the winding 284 in order to cause the strip 92 to be advanced. This signal can be obtained, for example, by a contact 33, which when opening. the punching and deep-drawing device is closed. 8s can also be obtained by any other known means, such as a photoelectric cell or resistor, which detects an opening punched in the tape 92. The hand 92 is guided by two lateral rollers, not shown, transversely to the punching and deep-drawing device. After passing through this device, the tape is wound onto a bobbin, not shown, for recovery. The compacts 93 (Fig. 3) now fall into a device q. for aligning and introducing the Preßl3.ngs, the task of which is to feed the next device of the flow production device, a device 5 for pressing and rolling in the desired rhythm with PreB-lings, in which the edge in contrast to their in Fig. 2 position shown facing up. The device for aligning and introducing the compact essentially comprises a funnel 42 with a vibrating plate 421, which has the task of circulating the compacts. These exit the funnel through an exit pipe 423, which is equipped with one or more small, low alignment cones 422, which,.
In Fig.
der Kontakt 33 und sendet ein Signal 3.n die Wicklung 284 den Relais' 28;
Ausgangsstellung wieder einziAriehmen. Sobald sich nach Be-
endigung der Arbeitsoperation

The compacts 95 which could slip through this trap without being stopped are ejected through an ejector 43 provided in the tube 423, an opening in the form of a semicircular slot 432 as shown in FIG. 4; the compacts 94 arriving in the correct position slide over this opening, while the compacts 95 arriving in the wrong position tilt into the opening and are discarded. A good functioning of the vibrating plate 421 assumes that the funnel 42 does not have too great a height. So that it has a sufficient capacity, it must have a considerable width. However, this can be avoided by arranging a storage box 41 in front of the funnel. This is preferably also equipped with a vibrating plate 411. The reservoir is connected to the funnel by a conveying pipe 413. The transport can be done in a known manner; Fig. 3 shows a pneumatically operating transport device in which compressed air enters through the pipe 412 and exits again in the direction of arrow 415, thereby taking the compacts with it. At the exit of the punching and deep-drawing device 3, as the arrow 414 indicates, these fall into the box 41. At the exit of the tube 423, the compacts are fed to an embossing and rolling device 5 with the edge pointing upwards. This can be made in any known construction, but it is particularly advantageous to use a device as described in the patent ........ (patent application A 50 869 Ib / 7 c) with the designation "Yerschlußkapsel für den Opening neck of a hollow body and device for producing this closure capsule "is described. This punching and deep-drawing device according to the aforementioned patent comprises two pressure bags 51 and 52, which hold the compact firmly pressed between them on its flat bottom, a guide body 53 for the jacket portion of the compact with a cylindrical portion 531 and a quarter of a torus surface having section 532, as well as a ring stamp 54 surrounding the lower pressure piece 52. After exiting the tube 423, the preformed compact 96 comes to rest on the lower pressure piece 52, its flat bottom section 961 resting on this pressure piece and its edge 962 facing upwards . The upper pressure piece 51 then rests against the lower pressure piece in order to hold the bottom section 961 of the compact. An upward movement of the ring-shaped punch 5.4 and a downward movement of the guide body 53 cause the formation of an S-shaped section 972 in the part of the side shell closest to the bottom 971 and the curling of the part 973 according to FIG . The finished-pressed closure capsule is picked up by any given transport device, for example by a conveyor belt or, as shown, one that works with air conveyance. Tube 60 with a rectangular cross-section, and transported to a device 6 for applying a sealing compound, which distributes a pasty compound on the inner surface 974 of the edge, which after it is polymerized on forms a seal. The device for applying the sealing compound can be of any known construction. In Fig. 3, for example, a device is shown with a turntable 61 on which the capsule 96 is held in that a negative pressure is generated in a tubular opening 611 of the turntable. The sealing compound is distributed through a stationary hollow needle 62 with an inner needle 622, which together form a needle valve. It can happen that the sealing compound to be distributed sticks when the needle valve is closed and partially or completely clogs the opening 62'i of the hollow needle. This can be prevented by providing a small brush which cleans the exit end of the hollow needle after each work operation. This brush (not shown) can be fixedly attached to the turntable 61. In general, it is necessary to provide several devices for applying the sealing compound for a pressing and rolling device; these devices are then combined in a single device, the capsules then being moved further in as many transport rows after each work operation as there are devices for applying the sealing compound that work simultaneously. After the sealing compound has been applied, the capsules are conveyed into the oven 7, in which the sealing compound is fully polymerized; In the furnace, the plastic material with which the closure capsule is still coated on the inside is melted; this ensures that the sealing compound adheres firmly to the capsule shell while it is being polymerized. The flow production system according to the invention works as follows: The thin metal strip 90 is unwound from the reel by the unwinding device 1. The band, the upper side of which is not coated with plastic, is greased by the lubricating pad 10 , forms a loop 91. If this loop becomes too short, the band 90 touches the upper fier 151, with the result that the microcontact 152 closes and starts the motor 14 driving the conveyor roller 12; the tape unwinds from the bobbin. If this occurs faster than the section 92 of the belt 90 advances, the loop becomes larger until it finally touches the lower feeler 161, thereby breaking the micro-contact 162 and turning off the motor; the conveyor roller 12 stops, the loop gradually becomes shorter until it touches the feeler 151 again. The precise advance of the strip 92 is ensured by the advance and stop device 2. When the punching and drawing device has performed a working operation and the die 32 and the punch 31 separate, the contact 33 closes and sends a signal 3.n the winding 284 to the relay '28; the contact 283 is closed, which results in the closing of the movable tongs 23, 24, the opening of the stationary tongs 21, 22 due to the interruption of the contact 282 and, with a delay caused by the delay relay 261, an advancing movement of the movable tongs. As soon as the punching and deep-drawing device begins to work, ie the punch 31 and the die 32 approach one another, the contact 33 is interrupted; the relay 28 takes its rest position away, the stationary tongs 21, 22 closes, while the movable tongs 23, 24 opens, in order to then retract their starting position under the action of the spring 27. Once after working of the work operation of the punch and the die of the punching and deep-drawing device termination separated again, the contact 23 closes again and the cycle repeats. The compact 93 now falls into the collecting box 41; there it is shaken by the action of the plate 411 and, by means of compressed air introduced into the pipe 412, is conveyed in the direction of the arrow 415 into the pipe 413, from which it then falls into the funnel 42. Here the vibrating plate 421 throws it up repeatedly. To turn it over until it is at the entrance to the tube 423 in the day marked 94; it can now slip under the cone 422, slide over the opening 431 and reach the entry opening of the pushing and rolling device 5. If a compact 95 slips into the tube 423 despite false gnawing, its downwardly pointing edge gets into the semicircular opening 431, so that it tips into the opening and is excreted. In the pressing and rolling device 5, the pressed part is held on its flat bottom between the two pressure pieces 51 and 52 and is completely pressed by the ring punch 54, while its edge is rolled up in the form shown at 973. The capsule 97 obtained in this way is then conveyed through the tube 60, which is rectangular in cross section, to the device 6 for applying a sealing compound, held by the negative pressure in the opening 611 on the turntable 61 and then set in rotation. The inner needle 622, which closes the opening of the hollow needle 621 , is withdrawn and the mass, which forms the seal after polymerizing, is distributed along the entire inner surface 974 of the capsule shell. After one complete revolution of the turntable, the needle 622 closes the hollow needle 621, so that the distribution is terminated. The brush firmly attached to the turntable cleans the exit end of the hollow needle. The opening 611 in the turntable 61 is reconnected to the atmosphere and the cap is then conveyed into the oven 7 for polymerizing the sealing compound, which it then leaves in a usable form.
