Betriebszeit auftritt.

Electromagnetic relay The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay in which the areas of wear of the actuating element for the contact spring set which are subject to friction have a metallic coating. It is known to provide the insulating actuating element for transmitting the armature movement to the contact springs of a relay at the transition point subject to wear with a wear-resistant coating, in particular with brass or bronze. This achieves the effect that the actuation member is worn out and thus the mechanical setting values are largely eliminated or a change only occurs after a considerably longer period of operation. However, a disadvantage of such metal coverings is that the unavoidable metallic abrasion can get between the switching contacts and can lead to contact faults there during operation. This is particularly disadvantageous if the relay is encapsulated, in which case a hermetically sealed end cap is usually provided. This is because it is then not easily possible to remove such deposits caused by abrasion on the switching contacts as part of the maintenance work. The metallic materials used hitherto for such a covering, in particular T-ingot and bronze, result in high-resistance LIetaloxide as abrasion particles, so that contact disturbances can occur during operation. According to the invention, these disadvantages can be eliminated in a relay of the type described in detail in that a noble metal, preferably gold, silver or platinum or a corresponding noble metal alloy is selected as the metallic coating. By means of the measure according to the invention it is achieved that the corresponding metallic abrasion, which can never be completely avoided, especially in the case of high switching numbers, consists of contact material. Therefore, such an abrasion can get between the switching contacts without contact disturbances occurring. There are a number of ways in which the friction-stressed point of the actuating member is provided with a noble metal coating. A preferred embodiment form of the invention provides that a covering in the loading
active or attached extension piece
serves. It is often used as a moving actuator

As a rule, the material for the contact springs will be much harder compared to the noble metal covering, so that only the noble metal covering will cause abrasion parts. For safety reasons, however, the areas of the contact springs corresponding to the areas of wear of the actuating element can be provided with a covering or coating made of noble metal. It is also possible to manufacture the contact springs, in particular in the form of wire spring contacts, from solid noble metal. Further details of the invention emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment, the figure showing, in a schematic representation, an electromagnetic pilot in which the invention is implemented. The Pelsis shown in the figure is a plug-in embodiment which essentially consists of a base 1, an excitation winding 2, an iron grain 3 and a contact spring set 4. The sock. 1 serves as a carrier for the entire relay, the contact spring set 4 being fastened to the base 1 with a screw 4a. The extended support plates of the contact spring set and the coil connections are designed as contact blades 5 and 6, respectively, and these are guided through slots in the base 1. The Elektroamagnetsyetem has an anchor 7 that .einem anchor arm 8,. At the outer end of the armature arm there is an actuating element 9 made of insulating material: The operating element 9 shown in a section has a link-like recess 9a into which the movable contact spring 4b is inserted, while the movable contact spring 4c rests on the upper edge of the actuating element 9. If the field winding 2 of the electron magnet system receives the operational excitation, the armature 7 is pivoted from the rest position shown in the figure in the direction of the soft iron core 3 of the sheet metal magnet system. As a result, the actuating member 9 attached to the armature arm 8 moves upwards in the direction of the arrow due to the spatial arrangement: This would also move the movable contact springs 4b and 4c upwards and open the rest contacts or close the corresponding working contacts. With this movement of the actuating member 9, there is also the contact points. the contact springs. 4b and 4c an unavoidable abrasion. This also applies. If these contact points on the actuating element 9 are provided with a metal coating. A noble metal or a corresponding noble metal alloy is provided as the metallic coating. so that even then no contact disturbances can occur '". if the metallic abrasion gets between the switch contacts.
