Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Schachbrett, dessen Neuerung darin besteht, daß es verschließbar ist und daß die einzelnen Schachfiguren vermittels eines mit Fächern versehenen Deckels in ihrer jeweiligen Stellung gehalten werden können. Es bringt dies beim Unterbrechen des Spiels den besonderen Vorteil mit sich, daß die Schachfiguren nicht mehr wie bisher sich verschieben oder auch ίο willkürlich versetzt werden können, sondern daß sie in ihrer jeweiligen gegenseitigen Stellung gesichert sind.The invention relates to a chess board, the innovation of which is that it is lockable and that the individual chess pieces by means of one with compartments provided lid can be held in their respective position.
