Der Behälter kann aus beliebigem, dazu geeignetem Metall in jeder Abmessung hergestellt werden. Die Neuheit besteht zunächst darin, daß in dem Behälter α mittels einer bis zur Hälfte mit länglichen Öffnungen f versehenen Wand e ein Raum d gebildet wird, welcher zur Aufnahme von Wasser dient. In dem von den Wänden e umschlossenen Raum des Halters α befindet sich auf einem gefirnißten Holzgestell b der eigentliche Tabakbehälter c. Der Behälter c ist porös und mit einem verschließbaren Deckel k versehen.
Ebenso ist auf dem Behälter α ein Deckel I angebracht. Infolge der beschriebenen Bauart der Vorrichtung dringt nun die von dem in dem Raum d befindlichen Wasser abgehende Feuchtigkeit durch die Öffnungen f in den Raum i und von da in den porösen Tabakbehälter c.The container can be made of any suitable metal in any dimension.
