und handwerklichem Können den Monteuren abverlangen."Universal cooling unit" The invention relates to a universal cooling unit,
the ready-to-use mounted in a wall of the room to be cooled, without any use
a special fitter, can be installed and at the same time perform various tasks
(e.g. to cool, freeze, air-condition, heat, dry, ventilate
and the like) to meet. It has been customary to use commercial stationary cooling equipment
to be assembled at the installation site by a specialist technician and put into operation
allow. Small refrigeration machines are also available for transport, provided that they are not
finished refrigeration units with built-in refrigeration machines, evaporators and condensing units
separated from each other. As long as they are robust and insensitive chillers
is an open design, this method is acceptable, even if the assembly
causes various difficulties on the construction site even for the experienced fitter.
Finding a suitable location for the machine, hitting
the wall or floor openings for the pipelines and the laying of the same,
the scheduling of the work with the various craftsmen, the possibility
all conceivable assembly errors are just some of the obstacles in the assembly process
and a smooth start-up. These conditions are made even more difficult by
the introduction of hermetic and semi-hermetic, high-speed motor compressors,
which, as a result of their great sensitivity, have an increased degree of kindness and conscientiousness
and require the fitters to have technical skills.

The evaporation 'd e s' known from refrigeration units: evaporator - thawing water with the help of compression and engine heat can also be used for commercial room cooling systems with the novel design described. The condensation water is led from the collecting channel of the evaporator or, in the case of outside air defrosting, from the lower air guide flap to the machine compartment below, where it evaporates in an evaporation tray that is swept by the sucked in condenser and heated by the motor compressor and thus no connection to it while at the same time effectively supporting heat dissipation A sewer pipe requires.-Another advantage of the construction according to the invention is the possibility of driving the evaporator and V erf 1 ü ssi -ger 1 ü fterf 1 ü ge 1 by a common motor, with which an overpressure protection on the without additional monitoring devices Condenser side is reached. If the motor of the condenser fan fails in an air-cooled chiller of hermetic or semi-hermetic design, the condensing pressure rises to a dangerous level. In the embodiment according to the invention, if the fan motor fails, not only the condenser ventilation but also the evaporator ventilation would fail. With the resulting greatly reduced heat transfer on the evaporator side, the refrigeration capacity is reduced to such an extent that the natural air flow through the chimney effect in the condenser shaft is sufficient to prevent a dangerous rise in the condensing pressure.
