Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Lafette für Schnellfeuergeschütze und bezweckt, die Verwendung für jeden Felddienst in Verbindung mit Kavallerie und Infanterie zu erlcichtern, damit das Geschütz der Kavallerie bei jedem Stellungswechsel und mit derselben Bewegungsfreiheit, wie dieser eigen ist, in jedem Gelände folgen kann. Zu dem Zwecke ist der das Rohr tragende Dreifuß abnehmbar mit der fahrbaren Lafette verbunden. Gemäß einer besonderen Ausführungsform ist der Dreifuß mit einem vofderen Zapfen in der Achsenlagerung der Lafette und mit einem hinteren Zapfen in dem Lafettenschwanz gelagert. Die Lagerung des Dreifußes in senkrechter Richtung in der Lafette wird dadurch gesichert, daß der vordere Zapfen mit der Achsenlagerung durch Bajonettverschluß verbunden ist.
Die besondere Lagerung des Dreifußes auf der fahrbaren Lafette bedingt Vorkehrungen, vermittels welcher das Rohr beim Transport des Geschützes durch Fahren sicher aufruht.
