Bunzlauer Eisenwerke Ferdinand Wiesner, Bunzlau.
:
also unwirksamen Stellung festzuhalten.
abscheidermiteiner Vorrichtung folgender Bauart versehen

Bunzlauer Eisenwerke Ferdinand Wiesner, Bunzlau. # Light liquid separator with device to prevent the container from being emptied. "For light liquids, there is a regulation that the fitness level, the roof entry into the state of rest
is in the separator room of the separator, not under-
may be stepped. It must therefore be prevented that:
the separator chamber is vacuumed empty if, after backflow from

the liquid flows off again through the drainage channel. th.
To prevent this evacuation of light liquid separators, a throttle device has already been installed in the upper part of the siphon-shaped drainage connection of the separator. This throttle device consists of a flap which is pivoted into the throttle position when the flow is stronger and ensures that air is always present in the upper part of the drain pipe so that a suction lifter effect does not occur. When using this throttle valve in connection with a light liquid separator, which is provided with a float valve and a device for lifting this valve from its seat, is now pointed out that in a special case, although in the
Practice will occur very rarely, but actually possible

deliberately held. In the normal case, that means
when the drainage channel is free, the separator empties
very fast and the current that occurs brings the
mentioned throttle device to the effect, so that an empty
suction of the separator can not take place, but the

There is thus the task of a device

If the case described at the beginning has occurred, there is a certain air supply in the upper part of the hollow body built into the separator. As soon as the water level has dropped accordingly as a result of the drainage of liquid through the drainage channel, the closure of the confluence of the air line in the upper part of the hollow body open and there can be more of the upper part of the
The air supply located in the hollow body can pass through the air line into the upper part of the outlet nozzle, which causes a suction lifter effect to evacuate the separation space prevented or the suction lifter effect is broken. In order to

will make that through this line solvency in the

The device to prevent emptying of
Light liquid separator according to the innovation can be
both in the case of light liquid separators with durohm flow barrier
as well as with light liquid separators that are not provided with a flow barrier. The embodiment shown in the drawing is a light liquid separator with a deep drain and flow barrier, which can be disabled with the aid of a suitable device.

The device described is known. The following arrangement is new: A pipe 23 is arranged next to the shaft 8, the upper, somewhat widened part 23a of which is located above the normal water level 15 and the lower end 23b of which is approximately the same as the drainage opening 18.
