PATENTAMT.
Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein gefilztes Gewebe zur Herstellung verschiedenartiger Waaren, wie Treibriemen, Pferdedecken, Filzstoffe für Filzstiefel, Sohlen u. dergl., unter der Verwendung von Menschenhaar. Da dieses bekanntlich einerseits der Fäulnifs gröfseren Widerstand leistet und andererseits auch seine Zugkraft eine gröfsere ist gegenüber den bisher zu Gebrauchsgegenständen verwendeten Fasern, besitzen die unter Mitverwendung von Menschenhaar hergestellten Stoffe eine grofse Dauerhaftigkeit und Ziehkraft und sind auch die Erzeugungskosten derselben niedriger als bisher.
Die Herstellung des Gewebes gestaltet sich folgendermafsen: Die Menschenhaare werden zunächst zu Fäden versponnen, worauf die versponnenen Haare 3 bis 4 mal zusammengedreht werden, um dann auf dem Webestuhl zur weiteren Verarbeitung in bekannter Weisezu gelangen. Hierbei kann dieses Haargarn entweder als Kette, wobei Hanf oder ein anderes passendes Garn als Schufs dient, oder als Schufs verwendet werden, in welchem Falle die Kette aus Hanfgarn oder dergl. besteht.
Auch die schliefsliche Verarbeitung und Verfilzung dieser Gewebe geschieht in bekannter Weise.

    Ein gefilztes Gewebe für Treibriemen, Pferdedecken u. s. w., dadurch gekennzeichnet, dafs das Rohgewebe aus Menschenhaargarn in Verbindung mit Hanfgarn oder dergl. hergestellt ist.
