Diese neuen celluloidartigen Massen werden in der Weise gewonnen, dafs man in dem bekannten Verfahren zur Darstellung von Celluloid aus Nitrocellulose die letztere durch solche Acetylcellulosen ersetzt, welche beim Verdunsten ihrer Lösungen biegsame, nicht brüchige Häutchen hinterlassen, demgemäfs also solche Acetylcellulosen mit Kampher bezw. dessen Substituenten, wie z.B. p-Toluolsulfamid, p-Toluolsulfosäuremethylester, Naphtalin, Oxalsäuremethylester, Phtalsäuremetbylester, Trichlorbenzol, Dinaphtylketon etc., behandelt.Experiments have now shown that films which do not contain any nitro groups contain and are suitable for the production of photographic film with unlimited durability, can be obtained by using the foils from a new type that we have discovered of celluloid-like masses.
