Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Gerüstleiter, dessen Vortheile gegenüber den bisher bekannt gewordenen Gerüsthaltern darin bestehen, dafs Spitzen oder andere scharfe Vorsprünge an ihm vollständig fehlen und daher Beschädigungen des Holzes nicht eintreten, und dafs er nicht nur als Unterstützung für die Querhölzer des Gerüstes, sondern auch zur Unterstützung der Verlängerungshölzer benutzt werden kann.
