Description
The invention relates to a continuous heating system for endless belts with a through Cascade walls divided into several chambers, a pair of driving rollers with a single cable in front of a slack pit and a device on the outlet side for pulling the tape through. Usually a controllable counter-tension is exerted on the belt by the pair of drive rollers on the inlet side. Through a loop scanning device in the bottom of the acid tank is the relation between the speeds the inlet and outlet side driving devices for possible constancy of the loop regulated. The permissible tape tension resulting from the height of the loop now requires a high one Acid land of about 1200 mm. Incorrect signals from the Schüngen scanning device due to a change in position of the belt and inaccuracies resulting from the varying belt dimensions occasionally cause Excessive tension in the tape, which leads to the tape rupture.
A tape tear within a continuous supplementary system results in very significant production losses, especially with a hydrochloric acid stain on the but the invention is not limited. In contrast to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid develops a lot more toxic and aggressive gas. In the case of tears in the tape, the development of gas after lifting off several Hoods and after the location of the ligament tear has been located by applying a layer of foam can be suppressed on the band surface. Simultaneously the temperature of the pickling liquid must also be lowered to di *; To reduce gas development. Often, motors and valuable parts in the area have to be thickened.
Which over the course of time on the entire building construction Increased rust must be removed by high maintenance.
After removing the hoods, the tape ends in the acid bath have to be laboriously searched for be brought out in order to weld them together again with the appropriate tools.
All of these difficulties are causally related to the increased belt tension, which in turn the high acid level is dependent on which it cannot be represented, in the event of a tape break the acid simply depends temporarily drain. Even if - as is known - the ones lying between the cascade walls Chambers can be emptied individually, this does not prevent the influence of gas development in the chambers adjacent to an emptied chamber.
,. * « l_ .11. J-Also known is a continuous pickling plant with one inlet-side and one outlet-side driving device, in which the strip is supported by rollers within the acid tank and is therefore loop-free. Because of this, the strip tension could be kept small when the acid level is low, but in the case of the known continuous pickling plant, a loop formation is provided between the drive device on the inlet side and the acid tank. However, this loop is neither regulated nor tension-free because it is relatively flat and is caught up in order to pull a movable welding machine, which can be clamped to the ends of two bands, over the loop length while the bands are being welded together. This creates considerable tensile stresses in the strip, which are likely to be greater than in the case of a continuous pickling system described at the beginning with regulated loops between the cascade walls. In addition, the arrangement of supporting rollers in the acid bath prepares sealing difficulties. ,. * « L_ .11. J-
The invention has set itself the task of avoiding the aforementioned difficulties in a continuous pickling plant with an acid tank divided by cascade walls and in particular when hydrochloric acid is used as the pickling liquid. It is based on the knowledge that a reduction in the bath height or the acid level would have to be achievable, which would allow the acid to be drained chamber by chamber, at least in the area of a ruptured strip.
The invention is based on a continuous heating system for endless belts with an acid tank divided into several chambers by cascade walls, a pair of driving rollers with a cable in front of a sagging pit and a discharge device for through? '<C) -m , les belt and it consists in that for the practically retraction-free passage of the tape through the acid container in the sagging pit to control the size of the loop formed there by means of the pair of driving rollers known per se light barriers are arranged. Between the sagging pit and the inlet there is no longer any pair of driving rollers or a similar device that exerts constant retraction. The consequence of this measure is that the Badhiihe or the acid country can be chosen freely. e.g. 500 instead of 1200mm. With such a low acid level, the economic outlay associated with draining the pickling liquid in the event of a standstill or if the strip breaks. in order to eliminate a malfunction when the acid container is empty without endangering the operator. As a side effect, the pulling through without pulling back according to the invention has the result that the risk of tape tears is substantially reduced, if not even excluded.
A low acid level is 300 to 400 mm known for a discontinuous sulfuric acid pickle. Since with discontinuous pickling there are no endless ones welded tapes can be pulled through and therefore no risk of the tape tearing and the related occupational stay, was the idea of the non-withdrawal Pulling the strip through a continuous pickling plant, especially for hydrochloric acid, is not suggested.
In order to keep the strip safely within the pickling liquid despite the low acid level, are provided on the inlet and outlet sides to hold down the tape, which is in itself is known.
For the selective emptying of the individual chambers, each chamber is provided with a drain, which in each has a collecting container from which the acid can be pumped back.
Hierzu werden die Trennwände mit einer eine zwischen zwei Deckelhaubcn eingestellte und im BetriebWhen a torn ligament is located and one or more the cover hoods have to be removed, only the space adjacent to the tape tear is needed To be made gas-free when an empty chamber according to a further proposal of the invention from the adjacent chamber or through dividing walls that can be inserted across the passage of the belt can be separated or divided in a gastight manner. For this purpose, the partition walls with a one between two lid hoods set and in operation
