Das Instrument, von mir genannt „Reiser's Lucifer", dient zum Anstecken, Reguliren und Auslöschen. von Gasflammen, deren Wechsel mit der Hand nicht bequem zu erreichen ist, ausgenommen Strafsenlaternen und gröfsere Kronleuchter.The instrument, called by me "Reiser's Lucifer", is used for plugging, regulating and Obliteration. of gas flames that cannot be easily changed by hand, except for street lamps and larger chandeliers.
Das Instrument hat folgende Theile:The instrument has the following parts:
