In den Patentschriften 72840 und 73089 sind Methoden beschrieben zur Reinigung von Iron und Jonon, darin bestehend, dafs man die genannten Ketone mit Phenylhydrazin oder einem anderen substituirten Ammoniak in durch Säuren wieder zerlegbare Ketoncondensationsproducte überführt und nach geschehener Reinigung aus diesen nach bekannten Methoden die Ketone wieder abscheidet.Methods for cleaning iron are described in patents 72840 and 73089 and ionone, consisting in that the mentioned ketones with phenylhydrazine or another substituted ammonia into ketone condensation products which can be decomposed again by acids transferred and, after purification, the ketones are deposited again from these by known methods.

Verfahren zur Trennung von Jonon und Janthon, darin bestehend, dafs man ersteres an p-Hydrazinbenzolsulfonsä'ure oder ein anderes alkalilösliches substituirtes Ammoniak bindet und aus der alkalischen Lösung das Janthon von dem entstandenen Condensationsproduct des Jonons durch Ausäthern trennt, worauf das Jonon aus dem Condensationsproduct durch Behandlung mit Säuren regenerirt werden kann.Patent claim:
