Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Elektrodenträger für elektrische Oefen, durch welchen ein guter Kontakt des Stromleiters mit der Elektrode gesichert und aufserdem eine doppelseitige Kühlung der Kontaktfläche durch den in bekannter Weise hohl ausgebildeten und von Kühlwasser durchflossenen Stromleiter und den die Elektrode durchsetzenden und diese tragenden, ebenfalls von Kühlwasser durchflossenen Bügel herbeigeführt wird.
