Diese Einrichtung bezieht sich auf die Zuleitung des zu schneidenden Papieres zur Mefstrommel, welche bei Querschneidmaschinen in Anwendung kommt.This device relates to the supply of the paper to be cut to the measuring drum, which is used in cross cutting machines.

Die Mefstrommel, über welche das zu schneidende Papier läuft, hat eine, der Bogenlänge entsprechende, oscillirende Bewegung. Bei der Vorwärtsbewegung zieht dieselbe das Papier um die Bogenlänge vorwärts, dasselbe wird sodann festgehalten und abgeschnitten, . während die Trommel ihren Rückgang macht. Damit das Papier während der Vorwärtsbewegung auf der Trommel nicht gleitet, wird es derselben durch zwei über einander liegende Walzen zugeführt. Die Geschwindigkeit dieser Zuführungswalzen mufs der jeweiligenBogenlänge genau entsprechen, und wird dieselbe bei den seitherigen Maschinen durch zwei konische Trommeln, die durch einen verschiebbaren Riemen mit einander verbunden sind, von Hand regulirt. Die Zuführungswalzen werden im vorliegenden Falle derart von der Mefstrommel getrieben, dafs sich die Geschwindigkeit derselben selbstthätig regulirt und sie stets der Bogenlänge entspricht, eine Regulirung von Hand daher nicht mehr nöthig ist.The measuring drum, over which the paper to be cut runs, has an arc length corresponding, oscillating movement. Das Sperrrad b wird von der losen Scheibe α mitgenommen, wenn sich dieselbe in der Richtung des Pfeiles bewegt, und treibt die Zuführungswalze vermittelst der Zahnräder c, d und e, wovon e auf der Welle der unteren Zuführungswalze fest sitzt, in derselben Richtung, wie sich die Scheibe α bewegt. Das Sperrrad f wird mitgenommen, wenn sich die Scheibe α in der entgegengesetzten Richtung bewegt, und treibt die Zuführungswalze vermittelst der Räder g und h in derselben Richtung, wie vorher, so dafs sich die Zuführungswalzen sowohl beim Vorwärtsgang als auch beim Rückgang der Mefstrommel Papier zuführen.
