The invention relates to a method of manufacture dyed fabric coated with latex on the back, characterized in that fabric, which are to be colored with direct dyes, coated on one side with rubber latexes, which are about 1 to 6, preferably 1 to 3 percent by weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone, based on solids, contain that fabric, which are to be dyed with acetate, acid and nylon dyes, coated on one side with rubber latexes, which 10 to 50 percent by weight of polyvinyl acetate and / or polymethacrylic or polyacrylic acid esters, based on solids, or that fabric is coated on one side with rubber latexes, which 1 to 6 percent by weight, based on solids, polyvinylpyrrolidone and 10 to 50 percent by weight, based on solid, polyvinyl acetate and / or polyacrylic or polymethacrylic ester, and the coated dyes dried and vulcanized fabrics in the usual manner for fabrics.
The application of a rubber latex coating to the back of fabrics, in particular of carpet and upholstery fabrics, is used to stiffen the fabric, to fix Tufts of nubs in their position for waterproof impregnation and for creating a non-slippery Surface on textile materials. After treatment with latex and its vulcanization can then the coated fabric can be dyed with various dyes to give it a decorative and to give an attractive appearance. However, conventional latex coatings do not accept dyes and keep so, in contrast to the different colors that the fabric yarns have taken on, an unattractive, monotonous yellow or white appearance. Also, the fabric should be loosely woven the uncolored latex coating will be from the top surface of the fabric in the interstices visible, which are formed by the loosely woven individual threads. Another disadvantage is that the latex seeps through the loosely woven threads and / or spaces can and covers parts of the front of the fabric, creating areas of non-colored Latex, which do not harmonize with the colored surface of the fabric. These color differences affect the appearance of the fabric.

Außerdem müssen Latexrezepturen für alle verschiedenen Farben zusammengestellt werden, welche im Gewebe gewünscht werden, was bestimmte Probleme hinsichtlich Löslichkeit, Farbfestigkeit und ähnlichen Merkmalen mit sich bringt, die jedem besonderen Farbstoff oder Pigment eigentümlich sind.however, it is necessary to know in advance the color which will be applied to the fabric should, and this is usually not possible. You also need latex formulations for all different colors be put together, which are desired in the tissue, what certain problems regarding Solubility, color fastness and similar characteristics inherent in any particular dye or Are peculiar to the pigment.
A conventional latex for the absorption of dyes is used for the use according to the invention modified by incorporating color acceptors into the latex so that it is direct, acetate, acid and Absorbs nylon dyes. It has been found that a dyeable latex by incorporating polyvinylpyrrolidone, Polyvinyl acetate, acrylic polymers, or their combinations made in conventional latex can be. The polyvinylpyrrolidone is an acceptor for direct dyes. The polyvinyl acetate and the acrylic polymers accept acetate, acid and nylon dyes. The expression “more conventional Latex «, as it is used here, refers to natural and synthetic rubber latex compounds, which is made up of the usual components required for vulcanization and anti-aging protection and auxiliary chemicals to control wetting and penetration of tissue may contain. As used herein, the term "acrylic polymers" refers to polymers Acrylate and methacrylic esters.
