Es ist bekannt, dafs Altarkelche aus Metallbechern bestehen, die auf einem Fufse ruhen und. vom Prediger den Altargästen der Reihe nach gereicht werden. Die den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildende Neuerung bezweckt, den Uebelstand zu vermeiden, dafs dieselbe Kelchrandstelle von' mehreren Menschen nach einander mit den Lippen berührt werde. Der Kelch, ist dementsprechend derart eingerichtet, dafs jedem Gaste gleichsam ein frisch■'' gefüllter, unberührter Becher gereicht wird. Erforderlich hierfür ist es, dafs der Prediger nach jedem Darbieten dem Kelche eine geringe Drehung giebt.
