Der in den Fig. 1 bis 4 dargestellte Apparat besteht aus einem Kelche mit Stopfventil und Abschlufshahn in einem verschliefsbaren Kästchen. Die Aufstellung desselben ist. auf dem Gasleitungsrohr zwischen dem Gufsoval und dem Hauptabschlufshahn zu nehmen und die Verbindung mittelst 7 bis 10 mm weiter Röhrchen zu bewirken. Beim Gebrauch des Apparates ist der Kelch mit Spiritus zu füllen, der darunter befindliche Abschlufs- (Durchgangs-) Hahn zu öffnen und das Stopfventil bis zum völligen Abflufs des Spiritus zu heben, nachdem das letztere fallen zu lassen und das erstere zu schliefsen. Zum Selbstverschlufs ist das Stopfventil mit einer Rückschlagfeder und zur Controle des Ventilabschlusses durch den Durchgangshahn die Thür des Kästchens mit einem Winkel zur Arretur des Hahnes versehen. Den Schlüssel zum Kästchen führt der Gasconsument, damit derselbe erforderlichenfalls zur Selbsthülfe vorschreiten kann.The apparatus shown in Figs. 1 to 4 consists of a cup with a stopper valve and Closing tap in a lockable box.
