Der Antrieb der Nockenwelle 4 und des Gebläses 5 sowie gegebenenfalls weiterer Aggregate erfolgt von der Kurbelwelle 2 mittels an sich bekannter, endloser Zahnriemen. Die Zahnriemen bestehen aus Kunststoff oder technisch gleichwertigem Material und sind mit einer Einlage aus Draht od. dgl. versehen. Für den Antrieb des Gebläses 5 ist ein Zahnriemen 18 vorgesehen, welcher beiderseitig mit einer Verzahnung 19, 20 versehen ist. Im Deckel 23 sind weiter eine oder mehrere, in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellte öffnungen für den Austritt der Kühlluft aus dem besagten Raum ins Freie angeordnet. Diese'öffnungen sind hierbei vorzugsweise derart angeordnet daß der Luftstrom zwischen der Eintrittsöffnung 25 und den besagten Austrittsöffnungen am Zahnrad 3 vorbeiströmt.
