Description
Einrichtung zum Absaugen verunreinigter Luft aus städtischen Straßen Das Hauptpatent betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Absaugen verunreinigter Luft aus städtischen Straßen, bei der die durch wenigstens ein Gebläse angesaugte Luft durch die Straßenkanalisation geführt wird. Im Anspruch 1 des Hauptpatents ist bei einer solchen Einrichtung unter Schutz gestellt, daß die Luft durch die Einläufe der Kanalisation angesaugt und mittels des Gebläses, das am Ausgang der Kanalisation angeordnet ist, unmittelbar durch den nicht von Flüssigkeit eingenommenen Teil des Kanalquerschnitts gesaugt wird.Device for extracting polluted air from urban streets The main patent relates to a device for extracting polluted air from urban streets, in which the air sucked in by at least one fan is guided through the street sewer system. Die Verunreinigung der Luft in menschlichen Siedlungen, vor allem in den Großstädten, mit Ab- gasen verschiedenster Art ist nicht nur auf die Industrie- und Kraftfahrzeugabgase zurückzuführen, sondern auch auf die den Schornsteinen von Gebäuden, deren Geschosse mit eigenen Heizvorrichtungen versehen sind, entströmenden Abgase, besonders bei Verwendung schwefelhaltiger Heizöle. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, zu verhindern, daß diese Abgase durch die Luft wandern, sie verunreinigen und von Menschen eingeatmet werden. Die Lösung besteht gemäß der Erfindung darin, daß das untere Ende der Schornsteine von Gebäuden, deren Geschosse mit eigenen Heizvorrichtungen versehen sind, mit der Straßenkanalisation verbunden ist und die Abgase am unteren Ende des Schornsteins abgesaugt werden. Der Schornstein wird also nunmehr von den Abgasen in umgekehrter Richtung durchzogen. Die Erfindung hat den Vorteil, daß für die Heizvorrichtungen (Heizungen und öfen) ein gleichbleibender Zug vorhanden ist, der von den wechselnden Luftbewegungen und Luftdrücken nicht beeinflußt werden kann.The pollution of the air in human settlements, especially in large cities, with exhaust gases of various kinds is not only due to industrial and motor vehicle exhaust gases, but also to the exhaust gases escaping from the chimneys of buildings, the floors of which are provided with their own heating devices , especially when using sulphurous heating oils.
