Das sich selbst erhärtende Material füllt dann das Innere der Hohlprofildichtung so aus, daß diese sich der Form der Nut anpaßt und damit an der Klappe festgehalten wird. Ein weiterer Vorteil liegt darin, daß eine völlig gleichmäßige Spannung am ganzen Umfang entsteht und Störungen durch unterschiedliche Spannungen damit ausgeschaltet sind.
