Der den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende^! Uebergufsapparat für Färbereizwecke soll ermöglichen, das Färben unter Lüftabschlufs dadurch auszuführen, dafs der mit der Flotte in den Apparat eingeführten oder sonst in den Färbeapparat befindlichen Luft Gelegenheit gegeben wird, sich stetig auszuscheiden, ohne das Färben zu stören und den Apparat zu verlassen. Der ganze Färbeprocefs spielt sich infolge dessen gleichmäfsiger ab und die Waare wird in allen ihren Theilen tadellos ausgefärbt.. Zu diesem Zwecke ist in den eigentlichen Färbebottich ein Cylinder b eingesetzt, und zwar von einem derartigen Durchmesser, dafs zwischen der Bottichwand α und dem Cy^ linder b ein Abstand von einigen Centimetern vorhanden ist. Die Verbindung zwischen dem Cylinder b und der Bottichwand erfolgt durch einen durchlochten Boden c oder in sonst geeigneter' Weise, und es kann sich so der Zwischenraum zwischen a-b zum Theil mit Flotte füllen.
