Spring membrane seal The invention relates to a spring membrane seal for moisture-proof push button switches, e.g. B. for slide switches or the "on" and "off" button in encapsulated switching devices, each button being assigned a one-piece cap-like seal. In known devices of this type, a disk-shaped membrane is conically shaped. A button, which is provided with a groove into which the disk-shaped membrane engages, is gripped by the molding. The membrane is held against a support, e.g. B. the door of a housing - for example in the case of encapsulated Sehaltgeräte - pressed. This design requires both flat and smooth surfaces. In addition, the surfaces of the holding plate and the base must be parallel.
There are also sealing caps for switch plungers known from the
Switch plungers must be held when they are in a certain position
should remain. For this purpose, arrangements have already been made in which the plunger
or a button is connected to the bottom part of the cap. That means that without
additional holder of the sealing cap, through the plunger or the button of the switching status
of a switch cannot be recognized.
The invention is based on the object of a spring membrane seal
to create in which the disadvantages described above are avoided. According to the invention

and possibly non-parallel surfaces, e.g. B. with existing cast iron

on relatively narrow contact surfaces.
Further features of the invention emerge from the description of an exemplary embodiment
and from the claims.
It is denoted by 1 a section from the removable or pivotable cover of a cast housing. Slide switches or plungers 3 pass through openings 2. The illustrated part of cap 1 is trough-shaped. 4 is a cap-shaped spring membrane which is held by a holding plate 5. The spring membrane 4 has a substantially conical shape; with grooves or grooves 6 , it engages over the edge of a perforation 7 of the holding plate 5, which is itself trough-shaped. The perforations are formed by pulling through the bottom of the retaining plate 5 to such an extent that collars 8 are formed. The groove 6 of the spring membrane corresponds to the height of the collar 8. The spring membrane is held here by its own elasticity. Subsequent to the groove 6, the spring membrane merges into a bulge 9, with which it rests on the cap base under the pressure of the holding plate attached to the cap 1 by means of the screws 10, with elastic deformation of the bulges. The conical middle part of the spring membrane merges into the bottom part 42 via the cylindrical part 41. This enables the central part to be pressed through centrally, since it can, as it were, roll off the cylindrical part. When the spring membrane is pressed down in the direction of the arrow 11 , the bottom 42 takes the slide switch 3 with it, which in turn carries out or mediates the switching process. The spring membrane then assumes the position shown in dotted lines. It is brought into its initial position (position shown in solid lines) by the slide switch that is to be returned to its initial position. The latter takes place z. B. when pressing another button 31 or when the switch is moved automatically by the shutter release.
