Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The present invention is an improvement on that disclosed by patent specification 45736 The object is a roof tile with a device for draining off condensation water. In contrast to this known process are in the present interlocking tile Condensation drainage channels, which are also ventilation channels, are completely covered and are inside of the brick material and arranged below the head seam in a considerable length; she open on the one hand at the bottom of the brick surface, on the other hand in one of the brick underside dripping condensation water from a gutter that is curved towards the roof surface and has a U-shaped cross-section owns.
1 to 4 of the accompanying drawings, this device is for illustration brought. It has the following properties:
Between the first α and the last head engagement rebate b of the tile Z there are two or more air ducts c arranged within the tile material, which on the one hand open directly onto the roof cladding D at the point Ζ λ and on the other hand are connected to the tile surface at the point Z 2 which reach the läfst on its down or beating accumulating water through the outward Längsabflufsrinnen e to the outflows. So that the outermost covering rib i at the foot of the brick does not close the channels c again at the point Z 2 , this rib does not rest on the brick surface, but leaves a gap i 1 between itself and the latter, the width of the channel diameter. Through this space and the channels, the soil air can escape into the open in the direction of the arrow. In order to prevent the dust and dirt that is driven up the roof surface from clogging and closing that point z 1 and also the ventilation ducts c in the course of time, that is, thwarting the fulfillment of their purpose, it is advisable, on the one hand, to connect to ducts c branch ducts h after the between To connect the top rabbets lying brick surface, on the other hand, to arrange inclined ventilation openings k in the cover rib i , whereby the possibility of sufficient ventilation is ensured even if the gap i l or the mouths of the channels c are blocked. The condensation that still forms on the lower surfaces of the brick Z despite the presence of this ventilation device can be caught in a curved channel delimited on the one hand by the outermost head rebate rib a and on the other hand by the flange g and through the ventilation ducts c directly onto the brick surface Longitudinal channels e are diverted so that the condensation water is prevented from trickling down onto the roof boarding.
