Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Feuerung, durch welche der Brennstoff, welcher aus minderwerthigem Stoff. bestehen kann,, möglichst ausgenutzt wird; die dazu dienende Vorrichtung kann in jede Füllfeuerung eingesetzt werden.The invention relates to a furnace through which the fuel, which from inferior fabric. can exist, is exploited as much as possible; the device used for this purpose can be used in any filling furnace.
Die neue Feuerung kennzeichnet sich besonders 'durch die eigenthümliche Art des Haltens des Brennstoffes, wodurch derselbe dem Roste allmählich zugeführt wird, sowie durch die eigenartige Zuführung der Verbrennungsluft. Unten im Füllschachte f ist ein rinnenartig gestalteter, mit Spalten oder sonstigen Oeffnungen versehener Körper r angebracht, auf welchem der Brennstoff aufgespeichert wird. Unterhalb des rinnenförmigen Körpers r in der Mitte, des Rostes befindet sich ein oben dachförmig gestalteter Hohlkörper k, welcher hinten unterhalb des Rostes mit Lufteinström Öffnungen e versehen ist, während vorn an der Kopfseite oder seitlich oberhalb des Rostes die Ausströmöffnung α angeordnet ist. Zuerst wird auf dem Roste ausgebreiteter Brennstoff entzündet und gut in Brand gesetzt. Derselbe wirkt auf die untere bezw. äufsere Schicht des in der Rinne befindlichen Brennstoffes, so dafs dieser durch den Brand theilweise zerkleinert wird und auf den Rost fällt, auf welchem die Verbrennung stattfindet; hierbei werden auch die Gase aus dem Brennstoff ausgeschieden und durch den Zug des Schornsteins durch den Feuerungsraum geführt, wobei sie verbrennen. Die Luft wird in dem inmitten des Feuerungsraumes angebrachten Hohlkörper k erhitzt, strömt in diesem nach vorn, verläfst denselben durch die vorn angebrachte Oeffnung α und streicht dann über dem Rost nach hinten.
