Die gute Abdichtung wird nicht allein durch die elastischen Eigenschaften des Innenrohres gewährleistet, durch die die Kante der Lippe von innen her gegen den Außenrohrteil gepreßt wird, sondern außerdem wirkt noch fördernd in Richtung auf gute Abdichtung die Tatsache, daß die Lippe infolge der Auswölbung nach innen einen freien Ringraum 8 gegenüber dem jeweiligen Außenrohrteil frei läßt. Durch den von innen auftretenden Druck in Richtung des Pfeiles 9, der durch das durchströmende Mittel auf die Lippe ausgeübt wird, wird sich diese verflachen, wie dies gestrichelt dargestellt ist.
