Dadurch wird ermöglicht, daß derjenige Anteil des Motoröles, der beim Anlassen der Maschine durch die Ölpumpe abgesaugt und den Schmierstellen zugeführt wird, für eine möglichst lange Zeitdauer nach dem Stillsetzen der Brennkraftmaschine warmgehalten wird. Die Wärmeabstrahlung nach dem Kurbelraum hin ist weitgehend unterbunden.
