Filling and emptying valve for containers with pressurized
Liquids The invention relates to a filling and emptying valve for containers
with pressurized fluids with an automatically generated by the internal pressure
closing, spherical, plunger-actuated valve closure piece, which is located in the
gradually narrowing bore of a sleeve to and fro to the sealing seat
is. Such valves are known. There is also already a valve with one with
the sealing seat for the valve closure provided sleeve made of elastic material
known, in which the locking piece after retraction of the plunger through the
Stuck internal pressure. However, the known filling and emptying valves allow
no throttled, finely and steplessly adjustable outlet, even for smaller amounts of liquid
from the container.
The invention has therefore set itself the task of further developing the known filling and emptying valves in such a way that they allow throttled, finely and continuously adjustable discharge of even small amounts of liquid from the container. This object is achieved by the invention in that when using elastic material for the sleeve, the walls of the longitudinal bore of the sleeve for the throttled and controllable outlet of liquid from the container from its narrowest to its widest point, the ball in each position with more or enclose less clamping pressure on all sides, so that when the ball is pushed away from its seat, the contents of the container flows past the ball by widening the bore of the elastic sleeve and, depending on the position of the ball in the conical bore, experiences a more or less strong throttling.
Furthermore, the invention consists in that the elastic sleeve
is tightly enclosed by a metal cap or by a metal sleeve.
Entleerungsventil veranschaulicht.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in two exemplary embodiments on a filling and emptying valve screwed onto a container with pressurized liquid. It shows: F i g. 1 the valve with the container in view, partly in longitudinal section, FIG. 2 the valve opposite FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale in longitudinal section and FIG. 3 the valve in another embodiment of the invention in longitudinal section.
In the drawing in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a sleeve 1 made of elastic material, which has a longitudinal bore 2 at the head end, through which once highly tensioned gas is admitted into the container 3 to fill the latter and the other time the gas for removal from the container 3 is left out. The longitudinal bore 2 is followed by a longitudinal bore 4 in which a ball 5 , which forms a tappet-actuated valve closure piece, is guided. The longitudinal bore 4, the lower end of which opens into a frustoconical, open cavity 6 , gradually narrows towards the sealing seat 7 intended for the ball 5 . As a result, it encloses the ball 5 on all sides from its narrowest to its widest point in every position with more or less clamping pressure, so that the contents of the container 3 flows past the ball 5 by widening the longitudinal bore 4 when the ball 5 is pushed away from the sealing seat 7 and in this case, depending on the position of the ball 5 in the longitudinal bore 4, a more or less strong throttling is experienced. 8 with a disc provided with passages 9 , which is inserted into an annular groove 10 in the wall of the cavity 6 and against which the ball 5 rests when the container 3 is filled, the gas flowing through the passages 9 into the container 3 . 11 with a metallic cap firmly enclosing the sleeve 1 is designated, which has an internal thread 13 serving at its lower end for screwing onto the neck 12 of the container 3 . At its bottom, the cap 11 has a channel 14 which corresponds to the longitudinal bore 2 of the sleeve 1 and widens towards the outside.
In the case of the one shown in FIG. 3 , the elastic sleeve 1 is firmly enclosed by a metal sleeve 15.
