Zip fastener The invention relates to a zip fastener with
a continuous row of links, which consists of coupling elements connected to a supporting strand
consists. In such zippers, it is known that the row of links in the
Carrying tape is woven in and guided as a warp thread, while the weft threads make up the carrying strand
wrap around the link gaps, and the side surfaces of the coupling elements
are covered by tied chain threads.
Compared to this state of the art, the zipper stands out
according to the invention characterized in that the covering the side surfaces of the coupling elements
Fabric on surfaces of the coupling elements that are offset in width from the coupling heads
rests. In this way, those caused in particular by the movement of the slide
Signs of wear and tear significantly reduced. By inserting the known
Cover flaps in a recess in the coupling elements therefore result in a larger one
Durability of the zipper. Another advantage is that the coupling element feet
can be open, which results in better guidance of the slide. The production
of the zipper formed according to the invention with a row of links woven into it
can e.g. B. be done on a needle loom.
Embodiments of the invention are set out in the following description
explained in more detail with reference to drawings.
an der von den Kuppelgliedern abgewandten Bandkante erkennen.F i g. 1 and 2 show a row of coupling elements in cross-section and in side view,
which consists of several coupling elements clamped onto a support string; F i
G. 3 and 4 also represent the same row of coupling elements in cross section and in side view
in the state woven into the fastener tape; F i g. 5 leaves the binding of the weft threads
by the band edge facing away from the coupling elements.
Figures 6 and 7 illustrate a modified weave of the ribbon in a similar manner
Representation as in FIG. 3 and 4. The in F i g. 1 and 2 from row shown
Metal or plastic existing and clamped or sprayed onto the supporting strand 1
Coupling elements 2 is, as shown in FIG. 3 and 4 appear in the manner in
Carrying tape 3 woven in that both of the cover tabs branching off from the tape tab 4
5, 6 cover the coupling elements 2 laterally up to approximately the height of the supporting strand 1.
The weft threads running from top to bottom in the drawing are used
of a needle chair with a needle inserted into the compartment from above, such as the art
made of double weft threads. This weaving process is explained in more detail below.
In üblicher
It is assumed that the weaving process in the illustration according to F i
G. 4 has progressed to about the coupling element 2a and that this is now in the
Tissue is to be included, the weft thread 7 has already been drawn in and
the needle guiding this thread is in the rearward position, d. H. in F i
G. 3 and 4 above the row of coupling elements. The needle is now after the
Subject change in the way down to the opposite of the coupling elements
Ribbon edge stuck in that the weft thread 8 newly drawn in in this way at
in the view of FIG. 4 initially runs in front of the coupling element 2a. In usual
Way is the weft thread according to FIG. 5 bound off at the lower edge of the ribbon
and with the warp threads in the same position, the needle is withdrawn, whereby
the new weft 9 results. This weft thread runs tightly within the flag 4
next to the preceding weft thread 8 and forms with this a double weft thread.
In the area of the coupling element 2a, however, the two weft threads are in one
the thickness of the coupling element 2a corresponding distance from each other, so that they are the same
Include on both sides. When the needle is at the top, a tray change takes place
in such a way that when the needle is pierced again, the strand is first wrapped around it
1 is done by pulling the thread guided by the needle around the two upper terminal ends
Warp threads 10, 11 laid around and then with respect to FIG. 4 on the back of the
Coupling elements is guided along and thus forms the new weft thread 12. After
Linking at the lower edge of the tape is the purpose of the needle with unchanged shed position
Pulling in the new weft thread 13 pulled up again. A new one now follows
Subject change, which entails a renewed looping of the strand or the terminal
Warp threads
10,11, so that the next weft thread 14 just like the one mentioned at the beginning
Weft thread 8 runs.
In this type of weave, as also from FIG. 4 shows the bilateral
the coupling elements located tape edges 5, 6 opposite the flag 4 with half
Weft density carried out. However, this is not disadvantageous because the coupling elements 2
at their rear ends facing away from the coupling lugs 15, lateral guide projections
16, 17 have to which the adjacent warp threads 18, 19 from above or
lay down while the adjacent weft threads 8 and 9 etc. these projections
evade. In this way there is also quite a bit between the coupling elements
dense tissue. The projections are used to better guide the slide, so that
the same does not lie against the side cover flaps 5, 6 of the tape.
The weave according to FIG. 6 and 7 differs from the one just now
described by the fact that except for those produced when the needle advance and -rücklaut
and the weft threads 8 and 9 encompassing the coupling element on both sides two more times
is pierced, so that in addition to the weft threads 12, 13 two more pairs of
Form weft threads, which are denoted by 20, 21 and 22, 23. That way results
in the area of the coupling elements as well as in the area of the flag
dense and correspondingly resistant fabric.
her.It is also possible to have the cover flaps 5, 6 with the same weft density
to be carried out as is the case with flag 4. For this purpose is a needle loom
to use with two needles, one of which in the manner just described
the rear part of the fastener tape and the side cover flaps 5, 6, namely
the latter produces half the weft density, while the second needle only produces up to
pierced to the depth of the cover flaps 5, 6 for the purpose of forming corresponding double weft threads
is, also alternately on the front and back of the coupling elements
here.
