Twilight switch Most twilight switches switch the lighting on in the evening at the same brightness as it was in the morning. Often , however, there is a need to switch off at a lower level of brightness early because the eye is very rested at the end of the night and the traffic is usually less in the morning than in the evening. In order to bring about this switching, special measures are required to prevent the switch from swinging at the time of morning and evening switching. In most cases, time switches or timers had to be provided that put the twilight switch out of operation for a shorter or longer period of time after switching in order to avoid oscillation.
According to the invention, the morning and evening switching is without oscillation
possible. The invention is characterized in that a photosensitive organ
switches two relays in such a way that the first relay controls the light source and
that the then responding switching relay via its normally open contact switching means
controls so that even with a changing tendency of daylight change the early one
The order in which the two relays respond or drop remains the same.
Erfindung bildet. It is already known to have a photosensitive device that controls several relays
Organ to switch on more or fewer lamps, but it is lacking in the known
Arrangement the changed evening and morning, which the task of the present
Invention forms.

Fig. 1 shows a twilight switch according to the invention, where the morning and evening threshold can be set as required, the switching threshold of the second light-dependent electronics having constant values; Fig. 2 shows a twilight switch according to the invention, in which, in addition to the twilight switch, the associated relay is also equipped with a switch-back delay; A.bb. 3 shows a twilight switch according to the invention with only one amplifier tube.
2 in Reihe liegt.
6 gesteuerte Relais 7
an.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a tube which is with a relay 2 in series. The tube 1 is controlled by the photocell 3 . As soon as the photocell 3 is strongly illuminated, as in the case shown, the tube 1 is throttled, relay 2 has dropped out and the incandescent lamps 4 are switched off. As soon as the photocell 3 receives less light in the evening, the tube 1 carries a current, and the light bulbs 4 are switched on via the switch 5 of the relay 2. A second light-dependent stage, consisting of the tube 6 and the relay 7, is now provided. According to the arrangement shown, the tap values for the grid of the tube 6 are fixed, whereas the taps for the grid of the tube 1 can be changed by the potentiometers 10 and 11 . If the brightness continues to decrease, the relay 7 controlled by the tube 6 responds. As a result, the two changeover switches 8 and 9 are actuated, which have the effect that the tube 1 receives a stronger negative bias and the tube 6 receives a smaller, negative bias. The sensitivity of the two arrangements is thus reversed. When the brightness increases again in the morning, the tube 1 responds first, it is throttled, and the incandescent lamps 4 are switched off. Only later is the tube 6 throttled and the relay 7 switches back to the position shown. With this circuit, we have achieved the object according to the invention and can switch off at a lower level of brightness early than switch on in the evening. In a manner known per se, the two capacitors 12 and 13 bring about a delay which is desirable in order to avoid a switching process caused by birds flying past or the like.
C
Im Beispiel Abb. 2 wird durch den Widerstand 17
erreicht,
geschaltet.
C In the example in Fig. 2, resistor 17 increases the delay time of the twilight switch. Furthermore, the relay 2 is delayed switch-back via the changeover switch 14 and the resistor 15 in order to ensure that no downshifts can occur after the evening or morning switch, if the brightness of the day fluctuates due to cloudiness, for example. The relay contacts 8, 9 switch as in the example in Fig. 1. The changeover switch 16 short-circuits the resistor 17 when responding, whereby the switching delay mentioned at the beginning for the arrangement 1, 2 is achieved. In the example dep. 3 only one amplifier tube 18 is provided, which is connected to the two relays 2 and 7 in series. the two Relai- be switched over in their sensitivity 2 and 7 via the changeover switch 19th Resistor20 gives you the option of choosing different response thresholds for relays 2 and 7. The bias voltage for the tube 18 is tapped off at the resistor 21. Otherwise, the circuit works according to the above examples, according to which the twilight switch 2 switches off early when the brightness is lower than it switches on in the evening.
Glow relays or thyratrons can be used in place of the tubes 1, 6, 18 in an analogous manner. Instead of the photoresistor, other analogously switched light-sensitive organs can be used.
