Für die Befestigung eines solchen Vollsichtreiters an dem jeweiligen Kartenrand einer Karteikarte, an einem Mappenrücken od. dgl. ist jedoch zusätzlich am Reiterkopf noch ein Reiterfuß vorgesehen, der zusammen mit dem Reiterkopf von zwei aufeinanderliegenden, quer zur Schutzhülle profilierten Platten gebildet wird.
