PATENTANSPRÜCHE: 1. Vorrichtung zum Verschweißen von thermoplastischem Material, insbesondere der Stirnseiten aneinanderanstoßender Platten, mit einer durch die Trennfuge zu führenden Heizlamelle, welche mit einer auf der Fugenoberfläche geführten Verstreichplatte verbunden ist und zusammenarbeitet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vertikale Heizlamelle (10) sich von der Mittellinie der kufenformig ausgebildeten horizontalen Verstreichlamelle (9) aus nach unten erstreckt und daß in der Mittellinie direkt hinter der Lamelle (10) die Injektionsöffnung einer Zufuhrleitung (12) für das vorverflüssigte Schweißmaterial mündet, welche mit einem indirekt beheizten Vorratsbehälter (2) und gleichzeitig einer Druckquelle eines inerten Gases in Verbindung steht.
