Bei Kartoffellegmaschinen, welche die Bildung der zur Aufnahme der Saat nöthigen Löcher im Erdboden mittels Pflanzlochstecher selbst herstellen, ist ein genaues Zusammenwirken dieser Lochstecheinrichtung mit dem Vertheiler der Maschine, durch welchen die einzelnen Saatmengen von dem Inhalt des Saatbehälters abgetrennt werden, für die zweckentsprechende Wirkung der Maschine nothwendig. Ein solches Zusammenarbeiten kann indefs bei den meisten dieser Maschinen nicht erzielt werden, weil Lochstecher und Saatgutvertheiler räumlich zu weit entfernt sind und eines Verbindungsmittels in Form einer Rille oder eines Zuleitungsrohres bedürfen, an dessen mehr oder weniger schräg liegenden Wandungen die abgetrennten und in Gröfse und Gestaltung meistens verschiedenartig ausfallenden Saatmengen mit verschiedenen Geschwindigkeiten der Aufnahmestelle zugleiten. Infolge einer solchen ungleichmäfsigen Bewegung zur Saatstelle kommt das Saatgut oft nicht in die für seine fernere Entwickelung günstigste Lage in den Erdboden. Um diesen Uebelstand zu beseitigen, hat man Zwischenglieder eingestellt, welche jenes genaue Zusammenwirken der genannten Vorrichtungen unnöthig machen.
