Description
Fitting for isolator links connected to one another by connecting eyelets a multi-link suspension isolator chain The invention relates to an armature for insulator links connected to one another by connecting lugs of a multi-link Suspension isolator chain, in which the isolator fitting has a fork-shaped attachment, between the prongs a chain link-like connecting eyelet with the aid a retaining bolt inserted through holes in the prongs is movably mounted, the distance between the prongs in the area of the retaining bolt is about twice as large as is the strength of the connecting eyelet and the clear width of the connecting eyelet in proportion to the retaining bolt diameter is so large that the connecting eye from its central position from in the direction of the retaining bolt axis on both sides towards their insulator cap something is pivotable.
It is already in the case of a cap fitting with a fork-shaped attachment for Multiple isolator member isolators have been proposed, the prongs to arrange the fork over the usual distance at a greater distance from each other, to get a larger swivel range. These fittings are on the inside the prongs arranged arched thickenings, so that the connecting eye without unnecessary There is play between the thickenings and the prongs are still relatively far apart are. The connecting eyelets or tabs and thus the individual isolator links can against each other within certain limits a rotation about the longitudinal axis of the isolator chain carry out. The connecting eyelet rolls on the thickenings so that the Prongs subjected to bending stresses during a twisting of the isolator chain which can lead to breakage of the tines. Another disadvantage is that this cap fitting a relatively high effort for the production of the thickenings requires.
The purpose of the invention is to make such a fitting simpler and avoid bending stresses on the prongs.
The invention consists in that the retaining bolt is curved and its associated cap facing the concave side.
Through this measure, the connecting eyelet strives to the highest To slip point of the curved retaining bolt, d. H. roughly in the middle between the two prongs, so that a concern of the connecting eye on the prongs and thus a bending stress of the same is largely eliminated. The isolator chain can therefore rotate almost freely, i. that is, the connection eyelet can also be roll sideways, with no significant bending moment being exerted on the prongs will. There are no arched thickenings.
It is also known per se to have rods bent in insulator bodies embed over almost their entire length, with the middle, free part a bolt is mounted which carries the arms of the armature of the next isolator. But the mobility of the bolt with respect to the rod is hindered, and the two arms of the next isolator have no way of moving relative to the Twisting rod. In this known embodiment, there are no connecting eyelets and their movable mounting.
It is particularly advantageous, apart from the curvature of the retaining bolt the prongs of the fork-shaped extension are not parallel to one another in the known manner To be provided running, but to be arranged in a V-shape, so that their distance from each other enlarged from the cap attachment point towards its end.
In the drawings, the invention is illustrated by means of exemplary embodiments explained in more detail, namely Fig. 1 shows an embodiment with two similar opposite cap fittings, Fig. 2 shows an embodiment with a slightly differently designed connection eyelet and Fig. 3 an exemplary embodiment with some structural modifications of the connecting eyelet compared to that shown in FIG. 1 Embodiment.
A rod-shaped insulating body 1 has a steel cap 2 with a fork-shaped extension consisting of the prongs 3 and 4 as a fitting. A clamp 5, which carries the protective fittings 6, is placed around the cap 2. The clamp 5 is held by a screw 7. The prongs 3 and 4 are arranged in a V-shape, ie their distance from the cap attachment point increases the further they move away from this point. In the prongs 3 and 4 are holes 8 and ß. These penetrate the prongs 3 and 4 standing perpendicular to the main plane. The retaining bolt is secured with a split pin 11 in the exemplary embodiment. The center of curvature of the bolt axis is approximately at point 12: A connecting eye 13 has two bores 14 and 15. The bores have a much larger diameter than the diameter of the bolt 10. The bores widen like a trumpet towards both ends, so that a rounded one Contact surface 14a results on which the bolt 10 can roll. When the connecting eyelet 13 swings in the direction of the axis of one or the other bolt 10, the individual isolator members can move in a plane that runs through the bolt axes with a large pivoting range. An equally large swivel range is also possible in a plane of movement perpendicular to it. The connecting eyelet 13 can namely move on the one hand on the bolt 10 so that it swivels about the center of curvature 12 of the bolt 10. On the other hand, however, it can also execute a movement in which its surface 14a rolls on the bolt, so there is no sliding friction between the connecting eyelet 13 and the bolt 10. The connecting eyelet 13 thus has many degrees of freedom to move with respect to the cap. As a result, almost no bending moment is exerted on the insulating body when the isolator chain vibrates.
The embodiment of FIG. 2 differs from that according to Fig. 1 in that instead of the straight double eyelet 13, a twisted double eyelet 20 is used. Their two holes 21 and 22 are in the vertical projection, so perpendicular to each other. Fig. 3 is essentially the same as the embodiment according to Fig. 1. But the double eyelet 25 is longer than the double eyelet 13, so in their There is still space in the middle for attaching protective fittings, if their attachment is on at this point is desired:
