Es sind Steppdecken bekannt, die zur leichteren Reinigung des Bezuges und der Füllung mit Taschen versehen sind, in. welchen Füllkissen herausnehmbar eingesetzt sind. Diese Taschen werden dadurch gebildet, daß Ober- und Unterstoff miteinander versteppt sind, wobei auf der Unterseite der Decke, d. h. im Unterstoff, Schlitze entlang einer Seitenkante jeder Tasche vorgesehen sind, durch welche die Füllkissen in die Taschen eingebracht werden können. Diese Schlitze werden dann durch Laschen, Stege, Bänder, Druckknöpfe od. dgl. verschlossen. Diese bekannten Steppdecken haben gewisse Nachteile. So ist es vor allem nicht möglich, bei diesen Steppdecken den Eindruck von normalen Steppdecken mit nicht herausnehmbaren Kissen zu erwecken, da die Steppnähte im Bereich der Schlitze den Oberstoff nicht mit dem Unterstoff verbinden. Es ergibt sich also nicht die für Stepp- oder Daunendecken charakteristische Einschnürung an den Umfangkanten der Taschen.
