Werden solche Zylinder als angetriebene Walze in ein automatisches Filter eingesetzt, so erfolgt deren laufende Säuberung von ausgeschiedenen Verunreinigungen mittels feststehender Schaber oder Abstreifer, deren Breite der des Zylinders entsprechen muß.
