Das aufgespritzte Kupfer hat die besondere Wirkung, daß es verhältnismäßig viel Kupferoxyd bzw. Kupferoxydul enthält, welches sich beim Aufspritzen bei hohen Temperaturen bildet. Gemäß der weiteren Erfindung wird daher beim Aufspritzen eine möglichst hohe Temperatur benutzt. Durch die Erfindung wird erreicht, daß die in der Luft befindlichen schädlichen Gase, welche das Anlaufen der Silbergegenstände bewirken, von dem Kupfer bzw. Kupferoxyd begierig aufgenommen werden.
