Description
Uberzugsmittel bzw. Coating agent or reactive lacquer additive to patent application Sdi 24441 IVc / 22h (Auslegeschrift 1 086 372) In the main patent application Sch 24441 IVb / 39b coating agents or reactive lacquers are described, which reaction products from polyurethanes and N-aminoalkylamides (polyamide amines, cf. Jahrbuch der Lackchemie - Reaction lacquers, 1959. 5, 89 - so-called reactive "Versamides" or USA patents 2 765 325 and 2 750 366) included. In addition to other advantages, these show in particular excellent resistance to chemicals.
It has now been found that these coating agents in their quality are even more perfected if they also contain epoxy resins. on In this way, on the one hand, the liability of the in the main patent application Sch 24441 IVb / 39b described, polyamides cured with polyurethanes already by addition small amounts of epoxy resin improves, on the other hand you can improve the resistance of known polyamide coatings cured with epoxy resins against chemicals and increase solvents by adding even small amounts of polyurethanes.
It was not foreseeable that in the combination of three according to the invention Polyurethane-N-aminoalkylamide epoxy resin the good film properties of the Two combinations of polyurethane-N-aminoalkylamide and N-aminoalkylamide-epoxy resin are obtained remain and the less desirable properties would recede.
