Die Mefsvorrichtung besteht, wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich, aus einem Mefsband a, welches in seiner Längsmitte einen Nullstrich b hat und von diesem nach rechts und links, von 1 ab weiter zählend, mit einer Centimetertheilung versehen ist. An passender Stelle sind auf dem linken sowohl als auf dem rechten Ende des Mefsbandes Löcher c angeordnet, welche zum Schutz gegen Ausreifsen mit einem Metallring eingefafst sind. Weiter gehört zu dieser Mefsvorrichtung ein zweites Mefsband a', welches ebenfalls wie das Band α von einem Nullstrich aus mit einer von 1 beginnenden, nach links und rechts gerichteten Centimetertheilung versehen ist. Auf jedem dieser beiden Enden des Bandes a' befindet sich je ein Schieber, auf welchem Knöpfe angebracht sind. Ferner gehören zu dieser Mefsvorrichtung zwei Mefsbä'nder d, welche an ihrem oberen Ende mit einem Haken und von dort mit einer Centimetertheilung, mit 1 beginnend, bis zum anderen Ende versehen sind. B. die genaue Wirbellage, die Armtiefe, der Armdurchmesser und die Schulterbreite, ferner zeigt dieses Mafs an, ob beide Theile des Oberkörpers gleichmäfsig gewachsen sind, oder welcher Theil eingefallen und welcher Theil erhöht ist (Fig. 6), und an welcher Stelle diese Abweichungen sich befinden.
