Facility for measuring for items of clothing. The subject matter of the present invention is a device for taking measurements for items of clothing, characterized by a measuring rail on which a slide is slidably arranged, which has means for fastening a measuring tape.
At one end of the measuring bar, a measuring tape can be hinged before geous. It has. proved to be useful to choose a steel strip or a plastic strip as the measuring bar.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely FIG. 1 shows the device on a bust, FIG. 2 shows an enlarged plan view of a slide and FIG. 3 shows a section near the line 111-11I in FIG.
A measuring tape 3 is articulated in FIG. 2 by means of an eyelet at one end of a measuring rail 1, which can be designed as a steel band or made of a plastic such as synthetic resin or synthetic glass and has a graduation. On the measuring rail 1, two slides 4 and 5 are slid onto the rail, snugly. The slide 4 is shown enlarged in FIGS. 2 and 3.
It consists essentially of a metal or plastic sheet in which two parallel slots are punched transversely to the direction of displacement and wherein the central web 10 located between the two slots is bent down for the purpose of forming a guide for the measuring rail 1. The side walls of the slide are bent up and serve to support the axis of a clamping buckle 7. On the side of the slide opposite the entry side of the clamping buckle, a hook 8 is attached protruding laterally.
This hook 8 is used to hook a measuring tape 9, the other end of which can be pulled through the clamping loop 7 from the entry side and locked in a certain position. The Masseintei development of the measuring tape 9 is chosen so that it begins with a measure that corresponds to the stand from the beginning of the graduation on the measuring tape 9 from the support point of the clamping buckle cover to the clamped other end of the measuring tape. The buckle 5 and its measuring tape are designed the same.
This structural design results in the following possible uses: The measuring bar 1 is placed with the hinge point 2 on the neck point of the person whose mass are to be taken. The buckle 4 is then brought into the position corresponding to the height of the back, the measuring tape 9 hooked into its hook is placed around the patient's chest and fixed in the clamping buckle 7 of the slide 4. Thanks to the rigidity of the material of the measuring bar, it remains fixed in the specified position. By means of the measuring tape 3, which is linked to the measuring rail in FIG. 2, the arm depth can now be measured in position I.
Position II is used to measure the waist depth and position III is used to measure the depth of the chest. Thanks to the fact that the measuring tape 3 can be swiveled, this mass can be read on both sides of the client. The distance of the slider 4 from the pivot point 2 gives the back height. At the support point of the clamping buckle cover of the slide 4 on the measuring tape 9, the chest circumference can be read.
The buckle 5, which is the same as the buckle 4 and in the hook of which a further measuring tape is inserted, is shifted to the waist length, the waist length measured from, the measuring tape looped around the waist ge and locked in the clamp buckle. The waist circumference can be measured by means of this measuring tape.
Another buckle can now be provided for measuring the buttocks height and the circumference of the buttocks, or the locking of the measuring tape in the clamp buckle of the slide 5 is released and this slide is pushed up to the buttocks height. In the manner already described, in this position the height and circumference of the buttocks are measured.
Finally, it is also possible to read off the entire length (Veston length, jacket length, etc.) on measuring rail 1 at point 11. It goes without saying that the hook 8 can be attached not only to the side but also on the top of the slide.
The device shown has the advantage that all dimensions can be determined quickly and reliably. -can earth without. that the client is cramped by armrests or other additional devices and thus has the effort to change his natural position.
