Description
Ironless inductor for electro-inductive soldering of sheet metal It is known to solder sheets butt against each other by means of inductive heating. For this purpose, the hairpin inductor was used, which is so over in its longitudinal direction the gap to be soldered was brought so that the inductor is symmetrical to the gap line lay. Another previously known inductor emerged from the simple hairpin inductor in such a way that one conductor was placed directly over the soldering gap and the return conductor branched out and returned to the left and right of the outward conductor became. In operation it has been shown that, apparently as a result of unavoidable inaccuracies in the adaptation of the workpieces to the inductor, it during the heating process to small arcing phenomena between the sheets, so that this, in particular thin metal sheets, burned at the edges. The potential differences causing this between the two sheets to be soldered are in practical operation, in particular in mass production, difficult to avoid.
According to the invention, an ironless inductor is now electroinductive Soldering of sheets, in particular of butt butted thin sheets, suggested, which is characterized in that on both sides of the soldering gap each a hairpin-shaped Loop is fed by the high frequency generator in such a way that the two inner, the conductor closest to the soldering gap have the same current direction, with the mean distance between these two conductors at least equal to their distance is chosen to the outer conductors.
With this inductor a spark-free soldering is achieved because the Solder joint is heated essentially indirectly. The direction of current in the inductor is so that the soldering gap lies in a zone in which the hyperbolically falling magnetic field is practically canceled by the field of the opposing conductor. The distance between the heating conductor loops of the soldering gap should be a multiple of the width of the soldering gap.
The drawing shows schematically an inductor according to the invention: With 1 and 2, the sheets to be soldered are designated. 3 is an RF generator. The heating conductor 4 is designed to carry out the method according to the invention. The magnetic one The field around the two conductors 5 and 6 drops hyperbolically towards the soldering gap and lifts near the air gap, as indicated by the arrows. This will be there practically no voltages induced, leading to arcing between the Sheet metal could lead.
