Derartige Geräte sind insbesondere für Fließbandbetriebe in fester Montage und aufwendiger Ausbildung bekanntgeworden. Es sind allerdings auch solche Geräte als einfache, nicht fest auf einer Unterlage für die zu behandelnden Brotscheiben montierte, sondern mit einer Handhabe versehenc Ausführungsform für den Haushalt vorgeschlagen worden. Bei diesen Butterauf streichern setzen die Auspreßöffnungen am unteren Seitenrand des Gerätes an. Die Butter wird also in einer dünnen, sehr plastischen Schicht frei ausgepreßt und sinkt unter »5 der Einwirkung der Schwerkraft auf die daruntergehaltene Brotscheibe.
