Method and device for extracting Ulen and fats, especially from fresh coconut, palm, cocoa fruits or the like. The invention relates to a method for extracting oils and fats, especially from fresh coconut, palm, cocoa fruits or the like. Like., By largely chopping the pulp with the addition of a liquid, heating the pulp-liquid mixture to about 30 ° C and then pressing out the mixture.
This well-known, because of the use of fresh fruits as the starting product mainly only for implementation in overseas countries, is also carried out to separate the oil or fat from the pressed filtrate so that it is converted by centrifugation into a high-fat emulsion and from this according to a conventional butter production process the oil or fat is excreted and, if necessary, the liquid residue is removed by evaporation. however, this process results in a final oil or fat which still contains substantial amounts of protein, carbohydrates, starch and water. However, these substances affect not only the taste, but also especially the shelf life, so that the 01 b-zw obtained by the known method. Fat is only suitable for use at the place of manufacture, but in no way suitable for export. Apart from that, the inevitable evaporation of the water residue also destroys the vitamins that are important for human nutrition and turns the oil or fat dark. Finally - the evaporation of the oil residue requires a high energy requirement and an extension of the process time, so that the process is not suitable for industrial implementation because of its inefficiency. 'Thanks to the invention, the object is now released, the AV Ahren to the initially specified kind develop so that it results in high efficiency at high a durable oil or fat purity and nutritional value.
To solve this problem, it is proposed according to the invention that the filtrate squeezed out of the pulp-liquid mixture is cooled to about 20 ° C. Solid residues are heated above its melting point, then the protein and the liquid are partially excreted by settling and the pure oil is mechanically separated from the remaining part of the liquefied filtrate.
In an advantageous manner, the solid residues obtained during pressing are dried to recover the oil residues remaining in them, then pressed and the sediment is filtered out of the pressed oil.
sehen. These measures not only provide that on which the invention is based
Task solved in an advantageous manner, but also a high oil yield
obtained from the fruits. It is of advantageous importance that the process
essentially mechanically, i.e. continuously without the use of thermal energy.
Further advantages are in the simplicity of the devices required, their
low acquisition costs and their low operating and maintenance costs
see.
In the drawing is an exemplary embodiment of a device for
Carrying out the method according to the invention apparently -shown.
Zerkleinertingsmaschine, z.
in welchem dein 01 bzw.
bildende Zellfeststoffrest entzogen. The coconut pulp, freed from the shells, is first in a shredding machine, e.g. B. in a cutter 1, with the simultaneous addition of a preferably heated liquid, e.g. B. What, ser, au.f a size that ensures that most cells are broken down. When using a heated liquid, e.g. B. for coconut fruits ' their temperature is chosen so that the liquid-pulp mixture formed by chopping is about 28 ° C when it leaves the Zerklein.er = gsrnaschinc. At this temperature, the cells are already largely unlocked. The liquid-pulp matter then passes into a conveyor screw 3 ' provided with a heater 2, in which the mixture is heated to a temperature of about 30 ° C and at the same time fed to a pusher centrifuge with a sieve insert in the centrifugal drum 4. On the inner surface of the sieve insert 8 are arranged several lamellae 6 , evenly distributed over the drum circumference, wedge-shaped to the discharge end 5 of the centrifugal drum 4, between which the centrifuged material is pushed through the push floor 7 to the discharge end 5 and experiences a compression. The filtrate spun off through the sieve insert 8 of the centrifugal drum 4, containing protein and low in solids and cooled to about 261 ° C , then passes into a cooler 9, in which its temperature is lowered to about 20 ° C , so that it is not only used for the transfer into a different state of aggregation more suitable, but also to free the oil particles from the protein envelopes and cell residues by shrinking these envelopes. It is thereupon entered into a butter machine 10 with a type customary for high throughputs, in which it is buttered. In the butter machine 10 bunching thus takes the floating in fine globules in the water oil instead, the oil solidifies according to the applied at churning temperature of about 20 'C in lumps of fat, the verbntterte filtrate is a now in a with a heater 11 and Transfer container 12 provided with overflow, in which the buttered filtrate is heated above its melting point (about 30 ° C.). This results in a separation of the various components of the buttered filtrate, namely in oil as the top layer, skimmed milk as the middle layer and protein, starch, carbohydrates and cell residues as the bottom layer. The accumulating in the area of the container base 13 and consisting of the material of the lowermost layer Sch-lamb is discharged from the settling tank 12 and supplied to the liquid settled or floating oil or fat by the overflow of a separator 14 in which your 01 or fat, the protein-containing liquid residue is removed, so that an oil or fat that is low in protein and water and free of solids is obtained with a consistency similar to that of clarified butter. In order to remove the oil residue from the cell solid material discharged from the spinning drum 4 of the pusher centrifuge, it is first dried in a continuously operating thermal dryer 15 and thereby converted into a coprar fineness. The getrockmte:-like cell Beschaf solid is then de-oiled in a, the screw press 16, to the ableufenden from the Schneckenpresse16 and Trubstopffen penetrated oil or fat of the Trub # substances forming cell solid residue is removed subsequently in an N filter 17th
